The place is nice. Unfortunately when the Hotel has events, they are understaffed and that reflects on everything else. We were there for dinner on Feb 15th and they had one server for the entire restaurant. The waitress did everything she could. But the stress was obvious. Food was not in the right time. Appetizer were served after the meals. The server pushed the special for the night which was over priced for the portions. And flavor wasn't not the best. Management needs to pay attention to the personnel work schedule.

My dinner experience was good but didn't standout. The filet mignon was overcooked (well done versus medium well) and the sides were just ok. I came on Valentines Day so they were very busy and they may not have been able to put in the same level of preparation as a normal night. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the meal, but weren't wowed by the food.

My new York steak was pretty good, but the sprouts were bland. And the canned mushrooms were awful. I think the food here has gone downhill!

Our latest dining experience at Sonoma Grille was outstanding. The food is delectable, service is second to none there and the ambiance delightful. My husband and I shared a very delicious beet, avocado, orange and feta salad to start. Then we each ordered the short rib special on risotto for our entrees. It was so tender, we cut it with forks instead of needing a knife. Yum! The staff at Sonoma Grille is also fun, friendly and helpful. They treat everyone like family. You will enjoy your experience there.

If you're looking for a locals-vibe with an energetic (but not loud) bar and a comfortable, roomy dining area - this is your place. The Happy Hour menu has an extensive selection of quality “pub grub” and creative drinks. I ordered from the main menu. My starter was Burata creatively prepared with fresh berries and a berry sauce. An interesting take for a starter that just as easily could be a great summer dinner finisher. Fresh and flavorful. My main was a roasted salmon served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli florets. It was prepared medium rare as requested and topped with a creamy (and a little bland) white sauce. Wines by the glass were perfect for the menu. Service was personal, friendly, and very helpful.

Sonoma Grille is so excellent...I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner and staff are so welcoming and thoughtful. The drinks are excellent, the food is fantastic, it can get loud but that's part of the fun! Great bar...the lamb shank was delicious, the mussels were amazing and the linguini with prawns was sooo good. Don't miss going here. A Sonoma staple.

Everything "matches" at The Grille which makes it a go-back place. Service, environment and food. Service is done with smiles; environment is comfortable; food enjoyable. Plus, Nina, the bartender, can make a great cocktail. The professionalism of restaurant shines. Quick note: Their flat bread is a great appetizer for the table or can even be a lunch entree for one. Lots of choices for everyone for both lunch and dinner.
