The place is nice. Unfortunately when the Hotel has events, they are understaffed and that reflects on everything else. We were there for dinner on Feb 15th and they had one server for the entire restaurant. The waitress did everything she could. But the stress was obvious. Food was not in the right time. Appetizer were served after the meals. The server pushed the special for the night which was over priced for the portions. And flavor wasn't not the best. Management needs...
My dinner experience was good but didn't standout. The filet mignon was overcooked (well done versus medium well) and the sides were just ok. I came on Valentines Day so they were very busy and they may not have been able to put in the same level of preparation as a normal night. Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the meal, but weren't wowed by the food.
Our latest dining experience at Sonoma Grille was outstanding. The food is delectable, service is second to none there and the ambiance delightful. My husband and I shared a very delicious beet, avocado, orange and feta salad to start. Then we each ordered the short rib special on risotto for our entrees.
