The food can be OK. But surprisingly the staff were abrupt and seemingly not happy to be there. Their attitude was that they were doing us a huge favor by putting our order together. Our online order took a long time and was given to us well after the scheduled ready time. Overall - given the price we paid, why go there? Really only one positive - I have to mention that the tater tots are nicely crunchy and tasty and can be considered a good value.

Lots of crying babies but the food was very yummy and fresh. My order of tomato bisque, fatuous (quinoa), and a barn burger was great! I was satiated and thought the salad portion size was huge. Perfect for sharing with 1-2 people even.

Freezing cold inside. They keep the doors open in winter and don't seem to make any attempt to heat the place. Whatever they're saving in heating they loose more in business. We left without ordering, but other Blue Barn locations food is decent.

We choose Blue Barn for our office lunch this week. The reason for my low rate is because the amount of chicken on the Thai salad was ridiculous small compared with the amount of lettuce. The box is huge and mislead me to believe that I was getting a great salad. The only problem was that I paid $25.00 for mostly lettuce. I am extremely disappointed after all.
Hige ripoff. Small sandwich with nothing for $24 and you have to serve yourself. No thanks.

I had never heard of this restaurant (or been in downtown Novato) and didn't realize it had multiple locations. The entire menu sounded delicious. I got the ahi salad and was so happy with it. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was chill. I will absolutely be going back.
