A little overpriced with the $16 artichoke. Uneven service, my wife is vegan and we were told by the host that she could bring her own entree and after getting our service started the staff then informs us that they just CAN NOT let her bring her own food. If they had robust vegan offerings, I’d understand saying no but they don’t which is fine but if you’re taking that approach you may want to be more flexible. Moving on…

As a local guide who frequently explores new food and drink spots, I stopped by this restaurant for a quick drink—but unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. From the moment I walked in, the energy from the staff felt disengaged and unwelcoming.
My server didn’t introduce himself or create any rapport, which is a basic courtesy in hospitality. Instead, the focus seemed solely on checking my ID (starring at it for almost 5 minutes lol) rather than acknowledging me as a guest ready to order. While I understand the importance of ID verification, it shouldn’t come at the expense of a warm, professional introduction.
I had one beer and left shortly after. The vibe lacked hospitality and balance, and I couldn’t help but notice that male servers were more polite and friendly toward female guests. If the staff dynamic stays the same, I’d suggest either incorporating more diverse servers or ensuring all team members consistently provide courteous service to every guest, regardless of gender.
I truly hope this feedback helps improve the guest experience—because with the right energy and service, this spot has potential.

The menu for happy hour says the caesar salad has white anchoivies and croutons . Well when my salad arrived there were no anchouvies and one Crouton, and hardly any caesar dressing . I asked the waiter regarding these issues and was told $5.00 for anchoivies and happy hour doesn’t put many croutons on their salad ; try ONE . I’ve come here to this restaurant for years and to be treated like this is so hurtful and unprofessional, im so deeply disappointed. I really can’t believe it. When i voiced my frustration and disappointment both the manager and waiter were rude and unsympathetic. This restaurant had changed not for the better but the worse

I recently ordered pizza from boca in Novato. The manager Jorge was welcoming and the staff was very fast to get the order ready. It was one of the best sausage pizza’s I have had. Very thin, and crispy crust with great flavors. You can tell it’s hand made to order. Can’t wait to go back.
Showed up early but we were seated right away. Gnocchi was great.

My mom got food poisoning from the seafood linguine. So obviously, we won’t ever be returning. The bread we ordered was just bad—It wasn’t that crispy bread you see in their photos, the saving grace of this meal was the brussell sprouts order.
Customer service was mid, our waitress was fine. But the other male waiters seemed inexperienced and unprofessional. We watched as one of the waiters stood there hitting on a group of teenage girls. The guys walked around gossiping and giggling like school girls out of a mean girls movie.

Food was definitely tasty, the pizza was a little greasy, nothing wrong and nothing exceptional about the service. They were good about refilling waters. Awesome that it was dog friendly. Overall I’d give it a 4.5 if I could.
