My sandwich was disappointingly small. I miss the way they used to make their sandwiches with the big fluffy slices of bread. My sandwich today was toasted but I could not believe how small it was for the price.

Passing through Novato, I stumbled upon this gem in beautiful Downtown — and what a discovery! I tried the Rapture Cake (absolutely incredible), the Banana Dates Cake (delicious!), and a turkey-avocado sandwich, fresh and tasty.

But here’s the magic: everything is gluten-free. The cakes and pastries are so rich, so flavorful, so perfectly made, that I could hardly believe it. Truly irresistible — I could eat the whole shop.

Service was friendly and the atmosphere inside was fine.

The problem is the size of the sandwich. Tasty, but tiny. At $12.50, keep the chips and make the sandwich bigger.

Leaving hungry…

New to the area, we decided to grab a snack and stumbled upon this bakery. There are a lot of parking spaces for free; we came late in the afternoon so crowd wasn't as much.

We ordered an americano, it was my mistake to assume that it was going to be served cold so when I got the order, I apologized and asked for ice and the register gave me ice in a bowl for me to fish out. Dunno how I should take that, I felt conflicted about it.

We ordered some banana bread which to me, I would like more banana to it and a meatloaf sandwich which was surprisingly good.

Excellent variety of sandwiches, and I almost wept when I saw all of the sweet treats. Lunch items include chicken waldorf, turkey brie, housemade meatloaf, quiche, hand pies and more.

Just bought the two pack of the chocolate chip cookies. No taste, and dry. I will not be going back.

I travel to Santa Rosa CA several times a year, and my orders from Flour Chylde bakery are deeply sustaining. The Chickpea Tuna and Avocado Toast sandwiches are fantastic. My mother loves their tiny cupcakes and I am a fan of their flat cookies. There is a little cake called Rapture that is aptly named. When I was delayed picking up an order due airport issues, they kindly brought the bag to a neighboring store for pickup. Great food, wonderful people.

Dion has really made an impact on deliciousness and GF goodness in the Bay area. His cakes are our go to for GF birthday and holiday celebrations.

Im pregnant and this was the sandwich I got today. The egg smelled so bad and tasted (to my siblings who tried it) super disgusting. I called to let them know that the egg looked and smelled terrible and they literally said "this is normal" terrible. Their food was below par for insane prices and I was fine with that. We were trying a new place. But this is ridiculous.

My favorite bakery of all time. Since moving to Oregon in 2021, I have not found any place with such delicious quality and service. Thankful that Flour Chylde ships to US!
