Though this is NOT where they grow the wines, this is HQ for the cellars. I've come to know Terry Leighton after reading a lengthy article about him, and establishing a line of communication by email, and then telephone. A phenomenal intellect with an artist's grasp of what grapes and winemaking are about, it is no surprise he's involved in making the world class wines coming out with the Kailin Cellars Label. To date, I've greatly enjoyed old bottles of Chardonnay, Semillon, and Pinot Noir. Not really predisposed to enjoy Pinot Noir, it has been nice to find that I quite enjoy those of Kailin Cellars. If you're lucky enough to have some of this wine, and have a handle on acquiring some of the limited quantities when they trickle out - you're indeed a fortunate person! HIGHLY recommended!
