I got Happy Hour nachos and a house margarita. The nachos were tiny for $7 and had no jalapeños or hot sauce. I asked for some, and the guy forgot; I had to ask someone else. The margarita wasn't very tasty. Maybe it was the mix. Tasted artificial. The staff was mostly very friendly, and the ambiance was good.

Fabulously outgoing, confident and exuberant barkeep--awesome supreme. Lovely carved, older fashioned wooden bar. Nice, chill music in the background with melodic electric guitar, decently fast enough food time during the lunch hour. Decent food. The barkeep made it pleasantly memorable while I waited for my food to-go, and I felt right at home; I needed that. Thank you!

We came at 9:59 on Tuesday evening 11/3/24 and the guy behind the bar says they close at 10pm.
We tried Maya Pelenque again, this time coming just after 9pm on Monday 9/23/24. We sat outside with my dog. Nice evening, not many customers. They were anxious for us to order, saying the kitchen was closing soon. I asked what the hours were. He said they close at 10pm except Thursdays are karaoke night and they stay open a lot later. He said Fridays are later also. Nothing mentioned about Saturday hours. He said they close early some nights when there's no customers. You may want to call before going there. The food was good. I tried their shredded beef enchilada, home made chile rellano, and pork tamale. I suggested new hours for Google. Last time it took Google 3 tries from me before they made Tuesday closing at 10pm instead of 12am.
