Fabulously outgoing, confident and exuberant barkeep--awesome supreme. Lovely carved, older fashioned wooden bar. Nice, chill music in the background with melodic electric guitar, decently fast enough food time during the lunch hour. Decent food. The barkeep made it pleasantly memorable while I waited for my food to-go, and I felt right at home; I needed that. Thank you!
We came at 9:59 on Tuesday evening 11/3/24 and the guy behind the bar says they close at 10pm.
We tried Maya Pelenque again, this time coming just after 9pm on Monday 9/23/24. We sat outside with my dog. Nice evening, not many customers. They were anxious for us to order, saying the kitchen was closing soon. I asked what the hours were. He said they close at 10pm except Thursdays are karaoke night and they stay open a lot later. He said Fridays are later also....
