Fast service. I was in the area for an early morning appointment and stopped in here for coffee and a bagel. I ordered the BLT bagel with no tomaties. It was satisfying and delicious. Their menu had plenty to offer. The service was great. They had heavy traffic which is a good sign in my opinion.

I've been going here for many years to buy their Asiago bagels. The last two times I've gotten these bagels they have not been the same. They are much doughier than they used to be. In my opinion they were much better before so I asked if they had changed the recipe. The son was helping me and he said no but maybe the baker was letting the dough rise too much and he would talk to him about it because other people had mentioned it. Please go back to the way you used to make them and everyone will be happier!

Their Bagels Are Usually Really Good & Their Chai Lattes But Today Is The First Time I Am Not Happy With Their Service Or Order. We Had Ordered Their Breakfast Bagel With Turkey Sausage & Was Given A Regular Sándwich In A Bagel. When I Called About My Order They Did Not Apologize & Made It Seem Like We Ordered Wrong & Said That They Dnt Have Any Turkey Patties When Ive Been Here Múltiple Times In The Past & Was Told That They Do Have Turkey Patties. I Can Say Im Glad They Were Able To Make Me A New Order But They Repeatedly Said We Had Ordered Incorrectly. My Chai Also Just Tastes Like Pure Oat Milk. Due To The Service, I Will No Longer Be Coming Here.

Living in Novato has given me gratitude for the existence of every eatery that delivers decent good food at a reasonable price. Is it the best bagel in the world? Probably not. Although I am from the East Coast, I am not a bagel snob, so I can't tell you if it's the perfect NY bagel - probably not. But it is waaay better than any bagel you can get at the supermarket, that's for sure. Honestly in Novato, if you'd like a quick cheap, relatively healthy eats, it's few and far between. Really, this place is it. And I mean healthy as in, not your regular fast food joint. I realize that carb with cream cheese is not exactly the healthiest. but considering everything tastes fresh, like it's been made that day with decent ingredients that don't make you feel bloated like it's 100% preservative. I really really appreciate that you can get a lox and cream cheese for less than $8 (as of the writing of this review) - it is extra to get toppings, but I don't mind because there are only a few I want anyways - mainly sprouts, and perhaps cucumbers. Novato, you've humbled me. Every eatery counts here. Even your local bagel joint. Because do you see any other bagel joints around here? No. So thank you for being here, Redwood Bagel Company.

Not impressed how they made breakfast bagel with flat sausage patty, bacon and one egg on a plain sandwich for closer to $9.00. Sausage was dried and the egg was cooked in the microwave. Very disappointed with that place after I drove 30 minutes from Napa to check this out. The cashier doesn't seem to speak English well. Don't think about getting food from that place. Go somewhere else!

Long time customer of redwood bagel and they never disappoint and love that a local family has been running it. Best breakfast or lunch in Novato!
On the plus side, their bagels are fresh and decently well made. That's the only reason I'm giving 2 stars. The cashier messed up my order in kind of a weird way and then the owner took over the transaction and was quite rude. It was only a $2 difference so I let it slide. As for the food - we got the lox bagel sandwich with all the veg and the turkey with cranberry bagel sandwich as well as the Thai iced tea. All of the toppings were subpar (mealy tomato, not fresh sprouts, very thin cheese, and cranberry sauce straight out of the can) and the Thai iced tea had an odd flavor. The store front itself is pretty shabby with dirty floors that look like they haven't seen a mop in years. FYI - there are no tables or chairs, not even a counter to eat at so it's definitely to go only.

Redwood Bagel: great selection of bagels. Extensive sandwich options. Call ahead and make your order. Ample and free parking. Sometimes a line but quick service. You can even buy merchandise if you'd like with that brand.
