Some of the most friendly staff I've ever met. I had the avo toast with added egg and bacon and it was very good, hubby had the Panini and said it was great.

Coffee is delicious. The lemon cake and peanut butter cookie were both dry. We did not finish either item.

Loved the food here-- so fresh, reasonable cost and tasty. Had the cherry almond scone and Ube rice cake. Will return. So delightful to eat on the patio.

Felt like a tourist trap. The prices were outrageous and the food was mid. Staff was nice.
Really love the food, we had grilled chicken with sriracha sandwich, the seasonal salad and asparagus w tarragon soup. Healthy and yummy.
Friendly, happy staff , relaxed atmosphere, nice clientele
Not thrilled. Very limited selections
Food not delicious. Extremely disappointed in this very expensive place. Prefer the old time bakery than this yuppy cardboard-like place.

Always delicious.
$24 for an Asian chicken salad and small grapefruit juice is highway robbery
I’m a regular At the Marin Country Mart location as it’s near my office. I’ll occasionally stop by the Novato location but am constantly disappointed. Usually, it’s the service that’s a turn off. Today I picked up three breakfast Panini‘s For my family. No customization, just as it comes. I eat these very regularly From the Marin country Mart location. What I got from the Novato Café is something I would expect from a Dunkin’ Donuts. Dry bread, dry egg, sparse ham, and they forgot the cheese. Normally, the eggs are fluffy and more abundant, and the ham is thin cut, and warmly placed in the sandwich. Not today, the exact opposite. Overall, disappointing. This location does run out of items, especially pastries fairly quickly on the weekends. I don’t judge them for that because they’re a bakery and it’s first come first serve. But this breakfast sandwich order was so disappointing. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I used to appreciate that little Novato got a great café like rustic bakery. And I root for successful companies like rustic bakery being originally from Marin. I wish they would actually deliver a product that was worthy of me visiting them again.

Rustic Bakery has stepped up their game. With their delicious bakery offerings, they also have wonderful regular easy breakfast food items like their tasty egg sandwiches. Their coffee is served in a ceramic mug, or in a large to-go paper cup. But they're serving up WONDERFUL COFFEE, not *just* coffee. I like that they offer both regular and decaffeinated coffee available in an insulated carafe at the self service station. For maximum pastry effect, ask them to warm your delicious pastry. Everything here is made at this eatery. Bring your kids so they can watch the bakers through the large plate glass window. The ambience here is wonderful. The service here is even better.
