We always enjoy our meals, or happy hour food there! It's a very good value for the food quality. Great menu variety, too, and great drinks! Service can be just a little bit slow, (with one person running the bar and Boardroom sometimes), but server is very good, friendly and competent - it also reminds you to slow down and relax 😀

The beautiful dining room complete with fresh flowers welcomes you in. The special lunch on Monday and Thursday of lobster and filet is beyond wonderful. Everything from the soup to the entree was cooked perfectly. Service is terrific. Don't miss this wonderful little place!

Soup was not hot Asked for steak to be cooked, medium to medium rare and it was cooked closer to well done. Noise level was high because there was a big birthday party of women in the middle of the room.
What a delightful surprise! The food was fantastic, specialty drinks were fabulous and the service was amazing. We have avoided going to out to dinner due to prices, quality and service but The Boardroom has now become a new favorite.

Can't say I was super impressed with The Boardroom. Nice atmosphere but very loud. Cocktails and salad were good. I don't eat meat but ordered the petrale sole and it was blah. My husband and his friend ordered the $80 steak and it was way undercooked and sent back. Another guest ordered the pork chop and said it was watery. Server tried hard but he was jammed! Very tight packed in the dining room. We won't return

If you want to go back in time and enjoy a great meal this is the place. It reminds me of a fine dining restaurant in San Francisco I did my culinary internship at in the 80s. Leather booths, dim lights, cool old Hollywood pics from the 50's, Escargot, Caesar salad, Lamb Shank, and even a speakeasy connected to it! Don't be discouraged that it is in a small strip mall. Once you enter, you are in a different era!

This was our tenth time at this restaurant. The food has always been fantastic. On this occasion, one of the entrees was not up to par and we sent it back. Our server immediately ordered a replacement entrée which arrived in a matter of minutes. This was done cheerfully and gracefully with zero fuss. This is our favorite restaurant in Novato. It is located in a funky shopping center and it has no windows to the outside. But that's its charm. You feel like you have been transported to Europe - it's so elegant, the seating is the most comfortable in the county, and there is usually live piano music. The food is outstanding, there is an excellent wine list, and the wait staff is the best.
