“My kids and I get boba frequently. When visiting a relative we searched for boba and decided to try Yuca. Definitely enjoyed it. Pearls were tasty. Flavoring was good. Would prefer bigger ice cubes, but that's just a personal preference. Certainly would recommend.”

“If you want delicious, authentic Greek food and a very welcoming and fun atmosphere to dine in, The Fat Greek is for you!!! I’m so bummed that it took me longer than it should have to try this restaurant out… but now that I have, they will have a customer for life!! The management and everybody that works there is so incredibly friendly, attentive, hard working and passionate about what they do. Since I went with two other people we got to try a bunch of different things but my absolute favorite was the Philly Cheesesteak Pita Sandwich and the Spanikopita! “Love this place! My sister took me for coffee. I ordered the white chocolate mocha blended drink and it was DELICIOUS! She ordered the seasonal blackberry lavender white mocha (I was a little worried about all the flavors) but it was so delicious! I wish I lived closer or I would come all the time! They also sell some awesome merchandise. They have new shirts for each season and they are awesome! Service was kind and friendly, as always. Very cute on the inside and some tables to sit and drink your coffee if you would like. I will definitely be back”

“Great food in this spotlessly clean takeout restaurant.We went to Consuelo’s today nearly 7 years since our last visit — we are from the East Coast and hadn’t been to California in that time. However, as we planned our trip, the lingering memory from 7 years prior of incredible food made us build a stop here into our trip as we traveled from Palm Springs to LA. It was totally worth it!One big change is that the restaurant is now only for takeout (used to have a dining area 7 years ago). We were mildly disappointed by that, but oh well…the food was still delicious. We ate our tacos in our car and they were nice enough to give us containers to do so to avoid the mess in the car.The tacos are very big. One soft taco was like a small burrito and was sufficient to fill each of us up. The drinks were very large too (Coke products). The place was also very clean looking which is something that stood out to us 7 years prior and had not changed.Having tacos for breakfast was somewhat unusual but we were so thankful that we could have them at 9:30am to fill a long overdue craving. They did offer more traditional breakfast things too.This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but hiding within is a true gem. After your first visit, you’ll likely want to plan your future trips around a stop here too.”

My company ordered a dinner they have had many times before so he thought he knew what to expect. The recipe was completely different that even the server didn't recognize it. My friend was very disappointed. Our server was amazing. The unexpected dish was taken off the bill, so they were gracious. Talk to your server about the menu before assuming you know what you're getting.”

The family running this restaurant was very friendly and seemed to have a nice connection and conversation with some of their usual patrons. We don’t live in the area and were passing though after visiting Palm Springs. It was our best meal we had all spring break. We had Tocilog, Pork Sinigang, Pancit with pork belly, chicken fried rice, mangomansi to drink and halo halo for desert. All of the dishes were delicious, well made, and comforting. “Don't miss out on trying this place! We came in on a Saturday around 5pm for a late lunch or early dinner. It was not packed yet. But you may want to call to be sure if you have a time limit. When we walked in we were greeted by the hostesses. They immediately asked us how many were dining and a few minutes later someone came to seat us. They asked if we were ok sitting in the banquet room. We said sure since we didn't know what to expect. If you are looking for quiet, politely decline and they will seat you somewhere else. The banquet room is right by the bar and not quiet. There were large parties in there and it was just us as a party of 2. It was very load, but the staff did amazing! The server immediately came to ask us if we wanted drinks. We started with a pomegranate mule and a blueberry mule. They were delicious. Next we went for the onion blossom and the flavor was incredible. For our meals we ordered the filet medallions with garlic mashed potatoes and a side wedge salad. And a filet dinner with a baked potato and side salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The highlight, besides the food was the staff. We were asked several times how we were doing by everyone. Even the guy who brought the food to the table had a sense of urgency and asked if we needed anything. And the bartenders too. We will definitely be going back.”
