This was our 1st time coming here. I didn't even know it existed until I was looking for places to eat nearby while visiting family. The guy who took our order was super friendly and nice. Everyone who worked there was. I got the California Burrito and my boyfriend got the Breakfast Burrito. When he brought our plates to the table, I was surprised how huge the burritos were. Definitely worth the price. It tasted really delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back to eat here when I am in town.

Pros: Plenty of pork Plenty of garbanzo beans Plenty of onion and cilantro (on the side)
Cons: No radishes No lettuce Wrong broth. Should have been spicy RED broth. However, it was a dull light broth.
Overall: The meal was NOT as described and looked nothing like the photo.

A week ago I ordered seafood soup and it tasted like beef broth, I called the restaurant and explained my dissatisfaction, and that they should be more careful, today 04/23/2025 I ordered beef soup, it tasted like chicken broth, in my opinion, I think they use the same broth for all kinds of soups (beef, chicken or seafood) and the cilantro is not cilantro😡 I cannot generalize the food, but the broths or soups are No Good!!!!!

Terrible food, oversalted beans, burnt meat. One of the worst Mexican restaurants I've been in.
Will never eat there again. We should have walked out when we went in and saw dirty tables. Found a big chicken bone in my carnita chimichanga and the owner said "oh sorry". What us a chicken bone doing in pork? Food was served by a 3rd grader.Husband said his food had no taste, rice was dry and beans were watery.

I ordered 3 tacos ala cart and was given and charged for, the 3 taco dinner. The shredded beef was unbelievably dry and had absolutely no flavor, as well as the beans and rice. It was terrible and ended up in the garbage. I won't be going back any time soon.

Crowded vibe, loud TV with soccer or some other sport. Prices reasonable, and the food was unexpectedly high quality and delicious. I got a grilled tilapia burrito, which is easy to get wrong, but I wolfed it down. I love the smokey, spice rojo sauce, my wife loves the verde.
Vegetarian options: The pinto beans are veg, not made with lard!

Do you have taste buds? Then this restaurant is not for you. There is ZERO flavor. I got the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and let me share that I am a vet tech - I often feed animals canned chicken because it's bland and easy to digest - I have no doubt this chicken in the enchilada came from a can, as well as the beans. I could not finish my meal, it was so bad. This was the 2nd worst Mexican food I have ever had (1st was Mexican food in Idaho; just don't do it, okay?) and I am so sorry to write this review, but I must be honest. I live down the street from this place and often walk by it. No one is ever inside. And now I know why. Please, for the love of SoCal, change your food.
