This place offers authentic Chinese dishes that's packed full of flavor. The dishes were very tasty, the chicken & shrimp were fried to perfection, & the portions are very generous. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some great authentic Chinese food.

This new spot serving up Chinese specialties from the Yunnan province quickly climbed my favorite list. First, the cold dishes: steal of the century! Fresh, authentic meats and veggies in generous portions that just taste awesome - seriously, can't go wrong with any of them. The signature noodle dish wasn't the best last time, but this visit it knocked it out of the park! And the chili wontons? Yunnan piles them on with a sweet and spicy, insanely savory sauce that's seriously addictive. Every visit has been more than satisfying when craving good Chinese food in this area.

We really enjoyed this place. Excellent quality and very large portions. We didn't realize how large the portions are and over ordered. You can split orders easily among 2-3 people. We will be coming back. Absolutely delicious!

Five stars! Amazing and authentic Taiwanese / Sichuan food! I love their hot plate selection of appetizers - chicken feet, tripe, pork belly, seaweed, and a lot more My favorites: Spicy Mala fried chicken: spicy chicken wings that are spicy and mouth numbing. Best thing on the menu! Fish Hot Pot: delicious hot pot of veggies and fish fillets. Spicy and mouth numbing. Delightful. Spicy popcorn chicken. This dish is SPICY but amazing. Spicy and mouth numbing hot! Tons of flavor and fun to eat This place is probably my favorite Sichuan restaurant t in Southern California.

Yunnan Restaurant offers top notch Chinese food in Westlake Village/Oak Park. Today was my second time here, and both times left me equally impressed. While the menu contains a variety of mouthwatering options, I highly recommend the rice noodle soups. My personal favorite is the Braised Beef Noodle in Chicken & Pork Bone Broth ($13.99). I usually order it mild, since my spice tolerance is still a work in progress. The food itself is delicious, flavorful, and satisfying. The generous portions and affordable price point make this restaurant one of the best values in town. Service is impeccable, as well. If you're in the area craving Chinese food, Yunnan is an excellent choice.

Dimming the lights would significantly enhance this restaurant's atmosphere. While the food and service here is excellent, the overabundance of bright lighting creates a cafeteria-like ambience rather than that of a cozy restaurant. A slight reduction in lighting would greatly improve the overall vibe. I hope the manager or owner takes note of this feedback, as it could make a remarkable difference in the dining experience.

Pedestrian food. Decent, if uninterested service. Too much food served from hot plates rather than fresh cooked. Looking for good Chinese for a while, but this isn't it.

This is our favorite restaurant for all kinds of occasions, we've been making our way through the menu and everything has always been great. The duck is especially tasty. Everyone is friendly and the area is always nice and clean.

Great authentic Szechuan Chinese restaurant. Don't be shy when ordering, everything is delicious and flavorful ( especially if you like it spicy) . American Chinese dishes for the unadventurous are better than any dish you can find in the non-authentic places around town. Really good food and very accommodating staff. Bring your own beer or wine if so inclined. Great for families.. more dishes to try.. ample portions.

Really nice Hunan styled cuisine served here. The soup's main feature are orange-colored cordyceps flowers, a type of mushroom used in Eastern medicine to promote wellness. It has a quail eggs, salted ham, crysanthemum leaves, rice noodles, cordyceps flowers (a type of mushroom that looks like steps of orange), bean curd skin, and stewed chicken in a chicken broth.
