They deserve a wholeheartedly review and I'm very grateful that even though I didn't like there soup(hot and sour seafood) they still gave me a chance to try a different soup which was their wor wonton soup which was super good thank you zen garden for being so generous, also tried their chicken steamed dumplings which was very bomb

The most accommodating restaurant I’ve ever been in. I got sick (I’m disabled/ill) and nearly fainted. The hostess ran to the back to get me ice, and she even closed the doors to turn the AC on. I’m a power wheelchair user, so I went to the car to lay back and they offered to bring the food to our car. They were willing to do anything to help and make it easier for us. Their food is amazing, and I already knew that because I lived here years ago and frequented this restaurant. A lot of places where I live now aren’t willing to accommodate me and being treated like a human being here just made me feel emotional.Thank you not only for wonderful food, but for making sure I was okay and doing all you could to help me through my little medical episode. I am very grateful.

Love this place. Very basic -- old style Chinese food restaurant. If your idea of Chinese food is PF Changs, then this place is not for you. The owner is wonderful. Very sweet woman. Portions are large, prices are low. Food is very good. Highly recommend..

This restaurant is by far one of the best in the Conejo Valley. The owner is so nice & friendly. The food is fresh & made to order. They really supported the community during the fires in 2018. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I placed an order on Christmas Day and they were extremely busy. My order took 2 hours and unfortunately there was a hair in my food. The food wasn't very tasty but it wasn't horrible either. I don't plan to order here again but I understand they were under duress and the man was still friendly when I picked the order up which is why the rating isn't lower. I don't mean to slander a small business but the hair is a bit hard to excuse.

Company is disorganized, unprepared, and have us waiting for food for 4 hours on Christmas Day. We had to call them to find out what was happening. If you are going to order from them order 3-4 days in advance.

I agree with the many reviews. Consistently delicious food and all are courteous & kind. The last order of Salt & Pepper Shrimp & Braised String Beams was scrumptious! For any reviewer with less than a positive experience, you might let them know. I have a hunch they'll make it right. Thank you, Zen Garden team.

Excellent place, delicious and fresh, definitely will be back. I had the Mongolian beef and the sweet and sour chicken and all I can say is wow. It's perfect crunchy fresh and big portions. Thank you happy customer.

Great Chinese food restaurant. They give you so much food. Soft noodles are excellent. Had lunch special fried rice was a little dry. Overall good food.

We LOVE Zen Garden for our Chinese meals. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their meat dishes are good and their vegetable dishes are amazing!!!! They use plenty of yummy fresh veggies. My favorite dish is their mushu vegetable and my family loves their chicken broccoli in brown sauce.
