They have good tea and the people are really polite and understanding, wouldn't recommend if your on a time crunch and its busy.

Situated in a un expecting plaza, Tea World was as empty as Star Market on a Tuesday. Except... Tea World was empty. We entered at around 3pm on a Saturday and was met with.... Nothing? The cashier was too focused on their friend ( I think friend, bc I was at that age once and only talked to friends I invited). Anyways, off to an iffy start... pretty clean store, vibe is giving 16 year old bedroom pop songs and Central Valley vibes. I love the art on the wall!! That lil mural was pretty cute! It's be cool if they added chairs and tables in case someone wants to study or smt. We looked at the menu and things look wonderful! We're originally from the bay so it was cool seeing San Francisco business being repped.We asked for the avocado drink and.... To our surprise... it wasn't green..... nor did it taste like avocado! The cashier working at the time did say we use avocado powder.... However..... wouldn't the drink still taste like avocado? It did not. It tasted like they forgot it. Anywho, we asked the cashier to change it, and was met with some resistance.They said, "Next time we won't be able to change your drink, because that is what you ordered.". Thank you for accommodating me this time, however, we ordered an avocado milk tea. We did not receive an avocado milk tea. I think if we spent $5, the avocado milk tea should taste like avocado milk tea . I hope you see the fallacy there. Anyways, I'd recommend NOT to try the avocado milk tea bc I think the recipe needs to be revisit.Would've absolutely loved this store if it was not for the, in laments terms, rude service. I mean.... My mom usually isn't picky, but this whole situation upset her. I wouldn't recommend this spot. Might as well drive to Modesto for better Tea!

We entered the store with no greetings at all. We ignored it since we just want so badly something cold and refreshing especially with the heat outside. you can sense the girl behind the counter with so much attitude right away. Probably because her friend is right there and would rather hang out with her. After getting the order, they had one of the orders wrong! We asked them to replace it but has the nerve to say that next time they won't replace it. So if they messed up your order, sorry you're just going to walk away with wrong order. WTF. The drink is okay, I've had better milk teas elsewhere. And with the price they charge, it's not worth it! And btw, the boba pearls are not fresh! Don't go to this place!

Having the tea drinks and milkshakes makes this a pretty nice place.
Tea world is my go-to boba. They have great flavors, an easy to customize, systematic approach to ordering, super yummy icecream and shakes (including some of my favorite hard-to-find flavors, like halo-halo and ube) and they have the best staff. All the employees are really nice, know the product, can make recommendations and are polite. The shop is cute, has good art and is well designed. They update and display their specials on wall posters which is fun for trying new drinks. They also run frequent promotions. Love this place! Plus they almost never mess up an order! That's a biggy these days. ^.^Vegetarian options: They have soy milk!Parking: Always has a spot right up front.
