I hate to leave bad reviews, I really do, and overall the Starbucks does probably a pretty good job on every other drink, but regular coffee. Why? Because I guess ordering a coffee at Starbucks takes 45 minutes, and ordering foo foo drinks takes about 10. I almost thought that they forgot about my order, and in someways I think they did. It was like, "Shame on you for not buying one of our really really expensive drinks and just buying.... Coffee." The atmosphere in this place is awesome. The parking lot sucks, but that's not their fault. But had I been on my way to Yosemite with a group of friends, I would've been the last person served after multiple groups of people went by, and all I wanted was a damn coffee. Not going back. Denny's is just down the street....

I ordered the caramel crunch frappuccino with the blonde espresso, recommended by the barista. It was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. My niece had also purchased a cup. Immediately getting home she filled it with her water and has not put it down since. Very happy customers. Absolutely recommend.Kid-friendliness: My niece is 11 and purchased her own cup. They were very cordial and patient with her getting her money out. Kid friendly ?

Today was extremely horrible service and I'm extremely sick after drinking only about 4 drinks of my Venti brown sugar shaken espresso.I go to Starbucks way too often and this one I go to when in the mountain area. I ordered ahead in the app and selected drive thru pickup. I wait in line for a few minutes then get to the speaker and let them know I have a pick up order to hear the normal "let me check on that" but this time with attitude. The girl came back over the speaker to tell me well you just placed it and it won't be ready I should park and go inside. First this drive thru is in a horrible spot I was already in line behind 4 people and had 3 behind me....I was supposed to wait in the drive thru line and then go in or try to back out when there was no room...? By time I got to the window it was ready and the girl continued with attitude and so I told the manager who also really did nothing to help and said her employee was told to tell people to go in. No I have kids in the car and if I placed an order right then and there it would have been fine....get it together and change your attitudes. Also my coffee ended up being fully milk and no coffee and I am now throwing up.
I went to this location twice while visiting Yosemite. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. It was nice to see how happy the staff were. They have a drive thru which was convenient. It's tucked away in the back of the small shopping center but there is a sign you can see from the road.

I think the nicest Starbucks in Oakhurst. Convenient parking. Relatively clean dining area. Very friendly and helpful staff. What I liked most, they didn't make me wait for my unheated muffin. Large indoor area and several outdoor tables.

I always get a hot tea. Customer service is really hit or miss- sometimes it's great and I leave laughing because they have some really lovely people there...but sometimes I end up leaving feeling embarrassed I decided to grab a tea during the shops open hours because staff is so rude (as in shove the pay machine in your face with no exchange of words and hand you your items with an exasperated sigh and such force you spill them on yourself). That being said, it's really just one or two employees that I'm nervous to interact with and they typically work mornings, so I just avoid mornings there. All in all though, it's a Starbucks and I'm just thankful they're open later in the evening so I can get some work done outside the office and my house.
