The brunch must be great, but the veggies sandwich is a greasy veggie burger on a bun that is definitely not "artisanal". Salad is just shredded lettuce, nobody busses the tables or even changed the batteries in the smoke detector, and it takes a long time to get your food. Otherwise, pretty good.

It was close to my house so I went to get breakfast. Ordered the chicken biscuit n gravy breakfast. Basically a breakfast chicken sandwich. They gave me everythingseparate! The chicken was fried in cornmeal, the biscuit was idk not a biscuit and the gravy was watery. Won't be back and won't recommend.

One of the very few food joints in the Lower Bottoms. They are very reasonably priced and their food is consistently good, but a bit on the greasy end. They also struggle to understand very basic English; if you order over the phone you may be uncertain whether you'll get what you ordered or not.

Wonderful service, close to parks that we wanted to eat at, and a great Oakland vibe :) My patty melt was -very slightly- overcooked, but that’s hardly something to get bent out of shape over.

Never been one to write reviews but this place is great and deserves some support. It's a nice little local hole in the wall joint nestled into a residential neighborhood that serves coffee, smoothies, burgers, sandwiches and other food and drinks with big portions and very reasonable prices. I got the Thai chicken sandwich - essentially a banh mi but on a rustic ciabatta-like bun. Included a fat serving of sweet potato fries; you can choose between those, seasoned, or regular fries (or garlic fries for an extra couple bucks). Was nice and big, filling, and can't l came out to around $15 after tax which is really good for the area and for the size of it.

It's nothing fancy or exceptional but they have great food for good prices, good portions, really friendly staff and a pretty comfy atmosphere inside. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. Wish there were more places like this.

I call in to make a speedier pick up but its great place to have a sit down breakfast/ brunch with family or friends.
try everything on the menu but his orange juice is always superb, i think he juices tangerines which is even better

There's no other place to get breakfast in Oakland that compares to 10th and wood. If you haven't tried this place you are certainly missing out. The staff is wonderful. And if you haven't eaten Elvis French toast have you even lived?

Restaurant is not open when it says it would be. You guys need to update your Google hours.

A culinary oasis near the Port, reflecting the African-American and Southeast Asian community roots of West Oakland — self-described as “Oakland Cuisine”.Fried Fish Sandwich served perfectly crisp (though light on salt), with Asian slaw and fluffy Kaiser roll. Choice of regular, sweet potato or garlic fries as side. Salad also an option.

Simply the bomb, no matter what you get on the menu. Neighborhood staple. Locals only type joint. Pictured is the biscuit sando with chicken apple sausage. The biscuit goes crazy… with some syrup? Game over The banana bread is so lite and served warm!!! The chocolate cookies also always hit. Personally a fan of how they actually cook the onions all the way through so that they’re sweet with your potatoes!! It’s all in the details. 10/10 service always. Very rare quality joint. I’ll probably cry the day they close.
