One of the best American Chinese restaurants I’ve had the privilege to dine at! My family was pleasantly surprised that our wonton soup came with fresh whole vegetables and large shrimp! Our waiter was also very friendly and made us laugh. 10/10 would recommend!

We ordered take out. The food was really delicious. The noodles in the Kitchen sink chow mien were cooked to chewy perfection. It was best combo chow mien we have had in a while. We will definitely be back.

So happy to have found a high quality Chinese restaurant. Not far from home! We had hot and sour soup, crab, rangoon, and chicken lettuce wraps, all of which were absolutely delicious. Very fresh and high quality.

We love 5 Spiced Kitchen!! I honestly think the Cripsy Basil Tofu and Shiitakes is my favorite dish in town. My partner is a meat eater and I'm a vegan and they have lots of delicious options for both of us. We've eaten in as well as ordered delivery and the food is exceptional with generous portion sizes either way. We appreciate that it feels like authentic Chinese food and isn't overly Americanized

I am very confused as to why this restuarant is one of the highest rated restaurants in Monclair! The rating is what lead me to choose this restaurant as a lunch spot for my date and myself.
The server/waiter was unengaged and not very attentive. Although the resturant was nearly empty accept for one lone diner, he had very specific idea of where e wanted us to sit without any openness top opposition.
We spent a fair amount of time choosing our menu selection, making sure to find what we would most enjoy, but the food was nearly flavorless and lackluster.
I mean, it was at most decent and not a total flop, but certianly not worth returning to especially considering the price (two entrees for a total of nearly $45 before the tip).
