Food and setting are great, but we were having brunch at the beginning of the restaurant's day, and it took our table (and the others we saw) a very long time, close to 45 minutes, before we got our orders. Seemed as if there were plenty of servers, but somehow things were very slow that day.

Drinks slow to get to the table, $50 steak ordered medium rare was very rare, burger ordered medium was rare. The waiter, which seems to be the norm at Acre was dismissive and cranky. The manager is great but both my son and daughter, who have worked in restaurants said there is no way those waiters (the one we've had there in the past) would get hired at the restaurants they worked at just based on their attitudes. I am kind of bummed because I love the design and the cocktails but that may be our last birthday celebration there.

Seated in downstairs cafe for lunch Quiet at opening but noise level increased with arrivals. Food good, but would prefer eating upstairs. Service was o.k.but never asked to refill hot water for tea.

Our server Kimberly was excellent, super attentive, even though it was pretty busy that evening, great personality, always a smile on her face and she made the night very pleasant. Food choices are great, something appealing for everyone. Food was really good. We had several shareable dishes. All were good. Several of us had the Beef Bourguignon which was also very tasty. There were five in our party and this was the first time dining at Acre for everyone. We would definitely go back. Also wanted to mention the server that brought most of our dishes... he was wonderful and cheerful as well.. super positive and just a sense of excitement as he brought the dishes to us! All in all a great evening.

Everything took a long time. We waited in line to be seated for almost 15 minutes and there was only 1 party in front of us and a long line behind us. Once we sat down, it took over 30 minutes to get a drink. We were there almost 2 hours because everything took a long time. My pastrami benedict was tasty but one of the egg dishes was raw. First and last time we visit the restaurant.

I ordered the smothered chicken and ended up with a Half rottiserre chicken that was the size of a pigeon. I had to debone, i had to butcher on the plate. I didn't expect to have to do so much work just to eat the thing. It was still pink in the middle, so I ended up not eating it and as the managers passed me by asking others "how are things?"....I was completely ignored. My server (Christopher) didn't even ask if something was wrong although he seen i didn't eat most of the chicken. It was my 1st time there and i didn't want to complain unless i was asked about it. I don't know if I would return cause it felt like it was on purpose. All the other customers were asked and talked to but not the dark skinned latino (me).

This was such a lovely evening, and we loved how the restaurant had an elevated but very family friendly vibe. The burger was outstanding and worth the hype! As was the olive oil infused martini! We can't wait to come back.

An incredible meal. The staff were SO accommodating from booking to billing, so friendly and fun. The food was outstanding, every dish original and delicious. A chill and well-laid out dining room. Will be back again and again.
