ONE AND DONE …… I ordered a pizza went in to pick it up first of all the person at the front counter was very unfriendly and went to check on my order and when came back just said not ready no no update of time nothing. I ordered a pizza to go when it finally was handed to me I think the box felt heavier than what was inside kind of concerning. I got home and basically got a little bit of cheese and mushroom with a slight brush of sauce on a piece of binder paper for the price it was unbelievably ridiculous I will never be going back here again and encourage people to look down the street for much better options. Costco serves a better piece of pizza at 75% less of the price market hall that this is attached to has Pizza at the bakery counter that is super good I’m just really shocked that this place is even still open with the prices and what you get

We went on Wednesday Jazz - enjoyed bonus music in the background. Had a great time with 5 chatty gals who good easily talk and share an assortment of plates. The brussel sprouts were devine as were all our other samplings - and we really sampled.

Went for lunch and very much enjoyed the experience. The service was very attentive. The hummus plate starter was very good. The chicken Caesar salad was tasty but underdressed (which is a weird complaint from me, since I usually ask for dressing on the side for fear of salad swimming in oil). The fries, though abundant and perfectly cooked arrived cold. The weird thing is they never changed temperature through the course of the meal. The low-alcohol beverage was a nice compromise on a warm afternoon. And the table by the window was great. I think the menu could be a little bigger especially on the sandwich board. Pastrami sounded good, but a burger or chicken sandwich would have been welcome.

Really liked the atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Good service as well.

For the price and ambiance, I expected service to be a little better. Entrees came out staggered by 6-8 min (1 dropped, waited 4-5 min, 2 dropped, waited again, 2 more dropped). Pasta with clam shells arrived and we had to ask for bowls for the shells. Just a little unimpressed. Food was good but not wildly great. Ambiance and experience was nice but I'm not in a rush to go back.

Wonderful restaurant in the heart of Rockridge! Perfect combo of great food, service and ambiance in a beautiful and yet casual spot. ACRE is going on our list of restaurants to visit time and again.

The staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. We were seated quickly. Cocktails were balanced and interesting and the food was solid. Highly recommended the fig and pig pizza!

Super attentive staff who seemed genuinely happy to have us! Loved the design - a relaxing and cozy update. The margarita was great! The purple rain cocktail was beautiful. Happy to come back ?

My family loves Acre! Food is excellent and the look and feel of the restaurant is great. We also love the staff, who always seem to operate as a positive, cohesive group. They always remember us and it feels like family.

Great food, friendly service and a creative menu, including the some of the best pizzas in Oakland. Happy hour at the bar upstairs or in the downstairs Varsity Cafe is casual and offers special treats, as well as the full upstairs menu after 5:30 PM. Great neighborhood hang ou!

The carbonara was raw egg soup and the meat was not rendered enough. The mushroom pasta was okay just a bit weird to have PSL flavored pasta. IMO not good enough for the price. I would stick to the pizza.

We brought a party of 8 to dinner last night after really enjoying our date night there a few months ago. The food was definitely just so so. Our bill was very high for what we got. Such a bummer

Just ate at Acre for the first time. We had the fried olives and they were delicious-a must order. I don't like olives but loved these. Sandwiches are excellent-not cheap but high quality. We will go back again to dine in the upstairs restaurant.
