We had a good time here. The cocktails were tasty and the food was pretty ok. Wife liked her fish entree and the olives appetizer. I found my burger (and the bun) to be a little dry and not especially flavorful but not terrible. I enjoyed the ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, it was one of those surprisingly good combinations.
Lovely date night atmosphere. Great cocktails. Pizza is solid and fried olives are YUM.
Food was really really good! I had the eggs in purgatory and focaccia. The service left something to be desired. Our server was very cold and barely spoke to us. He never checked on us after someone else dropped off the entrees. No one ever offered to refill our coffees. He seemed more occupied by a personal friend dining at the counter than his tables.
I love the salmon lunch salad. Delicious!!
This is our favorite place to meet friends for drinks and dinner and the best hot honey pepperoni wood fired pizza in the Bay! 😂 Roy always takes great care of us, makes us laugh, and recommends the best drinks and wine to accompany our meal. We come back again and again for the people and the atmosphere, and love love love Acre!!
When he was a very close friend but I would definitely revisit again
Very good experience here for company dinner. Service was first class. Very good staff here All around. Food was excellent. I can recommend the mushroom pizza as well as the cauliflower soup.
Fantastic location on college avenue near RockridgebBART with plenty of amenities all around.
Great ambiance, great menu that's seafood centric. Love the dinner cocktail menu.
We're here for oakland restaurant week and they did not disappoint. 3-course set was a good introduction to ACRE. Must try their burrata and mezze dish with whipped hummus and homemade (and to-die-for) flatbread.
The roasted chicken was divine, paired nicely with pasta and everything was so saucy :) Shrimp scampi had jumbo shrimp that had a snap. The chocolate cake was quite rich, a bit dry in the inside though. The ice cream with olive oil & sea salt was a hit. So refreshing to cleanse the garlic & herbs from the entrees.
Would come back for its roasted branzino or braised lamb sugo with polento or vegetarian options like the maitake mushroom entree with sweet potato puree.
Beautiful atmosphere, but the food didn’t quite live up to the setting. A shame, because the place itself is lovely.
My girlfriend recommended Acre for the pizza and our server, Malichiam, was the best! Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere!

Pizza, pasta and prawns star. Pro service. Full cocktail options. Convenient to BART.
We went there on my son’s birthday because it’s close to his school. Ended up it was an amazing restaurant with good vibes, excellent food and friendly staff. I loved my ribeye steak which was tender, juicy and tasty. I will come back for sure.
Nothing special about the burger or the chicken we had, just foodstuff. Meatballs were ok, oily sauce. Too many shoestring cold fries, the Cabernet too dark and heavy not finished, the cocktail too bitter and ugly taste. Too noisy particularly downstairs. Service was inconsistant, either too much or too little. something's off there No letters of recommendation for this place.
Spent birthday dinner here and atmosphere is great! The food was delicious and spicy. Great local wines and delicious chocolate cake dessert.
Valentine's Day Dinner!
Delicious food, we really enjoyed the bitter caesar salad was a really unique touch on a great menu. Space has lots of different types of areas, we had a spacious table for 2. Chef is always around running food, keeping an eye on things which was a nice touch. Plan to be back again and again.
