I ordered the veggie fir fir and the kitfo. The fir fir was just okay; the injera was packed together instead of light and fluffy. The kitfo was solid, and I’d order it again. Their injera overall is light, delicious, and made with 100% teff.

I used to love this restaurant. I don't know if they went through an ownership change but I can no longer recommend it. The service was thoroughly unpleasant and rude, the food was mediocre at best and to top it off, we saw rats around the back of the building when we left the parking lot. There are so many Ethiopian restaurants in this neighborhood, I would strongly recommend that you try one of the others. So disappointing on many levels.

Friday nights at Addis... Wow! This evening there was a saxophonist performing with the amazing keyboardist! My friend and I REALLY enjoyed the delicious meal plus heartfelt jazz music...what a treat! Excellent service and the aroma of the authentic dishes was mouthwatering! Don't miss this restaurant on a Friday night 😎

i’ come from marin to eat here with friends
today i had 2 friends for lunch and we got 1buffet and 2 meals . i asked the young lady if i got a buffet could i take it out with my meal . i guess she misunderstood me and preferred to throw it away as to let me take it home
i won’t return again. although food is good

It was great food. We ordered the veggie combo. It was plenty of food for the 2 of us, although we typically don't eat a ton we were quite hungry. It came quite fast. I gave 4 stars for service because it seemed like our waiter wasn't happy that we only ordered the veggie combo and we felt pressured to order more even though we didn't need to. But this was minor.
Worst experience in my life so expensive. We were just one family. Oh, the restaurant was empty and they have no patient. And they serve the food, it's cold, and it's from like 3 days ago, at least I got charged almost a $130 for something. It's not even worth it. Fifty bucks.
