Absolutely phenomenal brunch. My fiance and I split the steak sandwich and the eggs Benedict today. We loved each dish equally and were very impressed with the food after deciding to go here on a whim. We will totally be going back!

Incredible food and perfect atmosphere for a date night in Oakland. Loved the wood fire grilling food and the meals were amazing. Had a burger and a steak, both were excellent

Our entire party of 4 was floored by the flavorful dishes each of us ordered during brunch service. Curious? We had the pozole, fried chicken sandwich, chive scrambled eggs, and the vegetable hash. Plus the cornbread as a starter. I couldn't leave without buying a gift card! If you have the chance, make time for a meal at Almond & Oak!

Whenever I want a solid meal with fresh quality ingredients, I come here. I usually do their brunch but I tried their dinner menu last night and was thoroughly impressed. We got the squash soup, Caesar salad, gnocchi, branzino, and mashed potatoes. Literally everything was delicious. These folks know how to cook! Also can’t forgot the fudge sundae for dessert which really hit the spot.
Usually I feel underwhelmed and like I overpaid when we eat out but last night we left and thought, damn that was a good meal and very reasonably priced considering the quality of food. Ambiance is also very cozy with the brick, wood, and low light. Love their season menu!

We have been having brunch here weekly and it’s a great vibe. Food, service, atmosphere all perfect. We have swapped out dinner dates for a sweet lingering brunch and almond and oak is the perfect place for it. Great for out of town guests too with a stop by the farmers market or a pop in the bookstore. The staff is friendly and the service is great. We love
The quiche and the fruit bowl and have had many of the egg dishes which are all good. My latte is always perfect.
I don’t drink but we sit at the bar and they make lots of gorgeous brunch cocktails. Recommend for an intimate catch up, or a spot to cozy in w a bigger group of family and friends.
I am sure dinner is great too but we are sold on brunch.
Enjoy!

Cute spot with a good brunch. Food was really yummy; we were happy with everything we tried including the beignets, skillet cornbread, quiche, and summer veg hash. The mocktail I ordered was also really good. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I don’t go to brunch often as I am in the industry myself but if I do, I would definitely consider coming back here.

Everything I had was high quality and not overpowering flavor. I was wearing a Grizzly Man T-shirt and the bartender recognized it, meaning that the staff here must have top quality film taste. A unique prosciutto and broccoli Benedict, and Shrimp + Grits made for a great brunch with some corn bread.

The food is really good here, but it was kinda ruined when my friend and I were asked to leave so they could turn over the seats at the bar. What a bummer, we are old college friends trying to catch up, so that really bummed us out.
The food was good though.

I have been for brunch a couple of times, the food and service are consistently excellent. The buttermilk biscuits are the best! Will def be returning to try their dinner menu.

First time here from the city and absolutely loved it! We dined for Sunday brunch and it was exceptional. The food was on point, the space was perfect and the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. Josh, the bartender made a cosmo that was modern and better than expected. We'll be back often!
