It was okay. I found this place on Yelp, I work right by Lake Merritt and thought it would be a nice walk on a rainy day for something fresh and vibrant. Pictures and presentation, even for a to go order, were very pretty. You walk up to what looks like an old freight train that also sits across another business with the same set up, nestled in between are benches and chairs with some plants that nice decorate the otherwise very industrial looking cubes. I ordered the prosciutto toast. The Toast itself is about $14 with an additional $3 for the addition of cheese, yes the sprinkles of Feta are an extra $3. Normally I don't mind paying the extra amount for good food but in essence the only real flavor I got was from the tart and savory Feta and a bit from the prosciutto. I didn't get much interaction from the staff since you order from a tablet set outside of a window. When my order was ready someone stuck their head out and kind of screamed my name. Asked if I needed utensils and when I asked for the Tabasco packets I saw they seemed a little annoyed even though they were sitting right there next to utensils. Environment looked clean and maintained. There was nothing really wrong but also nothing really great here. Food looked fresh from top to bottom, a more nutritious option than a lot of what is in the area. Normally I have no issue giving a business another try but the experience and flavor was a little underwhelming. Maybe I just came on an off day.

Very fast service, excellent toast!! Tastes like very fresh ingredients, really enjoyed! Seems like people tend to go to the coffee shop next to it, and more should venture over because it's so good!

If you are an avocado lover like me you should try this place out. Different avocado toast options and healthy smoothies, service it's fast and friendly . Just keep in mind that it's an outdoor space so it can get very cold during winter time. Prepare your jackets !!! Pet friendly spot.

Very impressed with this place. I had their balsamic avocado toast and açaí bowl and they were both delicious. There is the coffee house Equator right across this place and it seemed pretty popular. Nice area to sit down between the two places. Right across from Whole Foods. I ordered the same thing by the next day and it was again delicious. Wish I could have this every morning! Service was nice too.

Good quality ingredients and located across the street from Whole Foods. It's a nice stop to grab an avocado toast and drink before grocery shopping, or after your walk or jog around the lake. They have dog treats too. I ordered the Prosciutto Avo Toast with Matcha Lemonade. Very tasty, filling, and paired nicely with the refreshing drink. There are ceiling heat lamps above their shared seating with the Equator coffee shop they share their outdoor patio with. Kudos for using all compostable containers, utensils, cups, and straws too!

Avocado, toast, sweet and savory, served out of a shipping container! Crispy bread, creamy avocado. The perfect afternoon snack.

Location is a little tricky and parking is not great. It's a converted container on a wooden patio, it shares a space with a coffee bar. One person working, (digital payment only!) and he took my order promptly. It took about 10 minutes to get my order. It was warm, I don't know why I didn't expect it to be warm. But it was tasty. The sourdough was very good. I'd definitely go try them again when I have more time.

I can't say anything about their food but I've been to two of their locations at two different times and at two different times of year and neither of them was open when yelp and the internet said they would be.

The avocado is dark and not fresh. It tastes sour and my stomach hurt after eating this. Don't order from this place

Happy this place opened (reopened?) inside the little Equator nook. Went with the brekkie toast (peanut butter, banana, strawberries and coconut flakes) because I was in the mood for sweets. I do wish I had been able to speak to someone before I ordered (to ask if it was real sourdough bread) but they only have a touch screen to order, so I played it safe and got the GF bread. I will say, this GF bread was great! I will definitely be back to try a savory toast.

Ordered the salmon toast & matcha lemonade. Lox bagel but on toast! With avocado! Cute location walkable to the lake, & shared space with equator in case you want coffee to accompany your toast. Small but very cute & convenient space. Matcha lemonade was definitely matcha-y & not too sweet which I liked. The toast was yummy, fresh quality ingredients, decent portion, price seems about right for the Bay Area & just that general area, so it'll be a little more pricey. Total was about $26.
