An amazing local spot for coffee and conversation. I visited Oakland and a good friend and native insisted that we stop by. I'm so glad we did!!! It has an awesome atmosphere and real baristas making real drinks. Our batista was cool, skilled and sociable. We had a great conversation while he made our drinks real time! In a world where coffee is made by machines, it was great to have the human touch!

When I'm working in Oakland, this is my go to coffee shop. The staff are absolutely fantastic, warm, and welcoming. They're also accommodating to a remote worker who is tired of being at the desk in a hotel. A few of us were posted up while working, sipping delightful coffees and teas. Lox & capers on a toasted everything bagel is my favorite.
