Got it because it was open late. It wasn’t very good. Eatable but not enjoyable after I was no longer hungry. But service was fast and nice. And inside was clean and good atmosphere. Fine option if you’re starving at midnight but otherwise probs wouldn’t go here when there’s so many delicious Korean restaurants around

My go to meal from order boneless chicken wings with Hot & Sweet sauce and a side of steamed rice. I have also had the Azit Fried Rice. The Food:AMAZING. I am from LA and frequent K-Fried Chicken joints all around Los Angeles (K-Town and beyond). This spot is up there with their fried chicken. Crispy large pieces. Perfectly seasoned… not too spicy not too sweet. Great quality. The recipe is beyond good and the cooks blow it out of the water! Their menu is very diverse in terms of street food. I just like to stick to what I know. When I am craving K-fried chicken this is my go to in the East Bay.Service:Attentive, respectful, doing a good job. Sat me quickly, took my order quickly. Food took a little bit but they were busy with online/to go orders. Checked on e while I was eating. Helped me wrap up after I was done. They were efficient and that’s all I ask for when working in the service industry. No one owes me their kindness, regardless of whether I am paying. They were cool. That’s it.Atmosphere:The art on the walls is great! Nice size when not too crowded. Can get really overwhelming when it is busy (duh). Lighting is club-y but fun. Now to the noise level… it is loud. But this has been my experience with most late night street food joints. It doesn’t bother me at all but if you have a sensory sensitivity get your food to go for sure. I like that there is K-pop playing in the restaurant and Bachata in the open kitchen. That’s how I know my food will be gooooood. And it’s for the culture! I took off 1 star from the category bc it really is not accessible for people with sensory sensitivities. Clean, no bad odors.A Note About the Neighborhood: it’s Oakland. It’s Temescal. It’s very hip and a cool area. It is very diverse ethnically. Like all of The Town, there is a car break-in issue and homelessness is dire. THIS DOES NOT MAKE IT A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD. As always, be aware of where you are. And don’t blame humans for systemic problems.Ok. Enough ranting.Highly recommend Azit! As far as I can tell… Azit is a great place to Eat!

Solid late night udon & Korean joint. Sketchy neighborhood but if it’s your only option you can’t go wrong.

Came here late at night, around 10pm on a Tuesday. We found it on Yelp and thought the spot is relatively new. There was only two other parties when we came in; however, when we left around 11:30, the place was packed and there was even a waitlist! Generally seemed to be couples and groups of friends although a group of students also came in with their laptops to study lol. We just parked outside on the street. The vibe is dark purple and red colors with Kdramas playing in the background. The service was good. We waited around 15 minutes for our food.We got a medium order of wings which can be divided into two flavors.Spicy wings: Not very spicy by my standards but there’s a kick that works well with the savory flavor. I’d recommend getting one fry rub and one saucy wing to balance each other out. This went along nicely with the cream cheese onion wings.Cream cheese onion wings: This is literally a liquidy cream cheese sauce with sliced onions on top. Some of the onion pieces were cooked through, while others were still spicy. Overall it was a flavor that wasn’t what we expected, but it worked.Tteokbokki with dumplings and cheese: Pretty tasty! Wish the sauce was thicker so it can stick to the rice cakes more. I do NOT recommend getting the dumplings. I expected to have a couple of crispy fried mandu on top of the dish, but it’s actually 3 soggy, tiny, broken, boiled dumplings hidden underneath the rest of the rice cakes. We actually called the server over because we couldn’t find them at first. Then he said the chef put three in… At basically $1 per dumpling, this was not worth it.We ended up with enough leftover food for 2.5 more meals. We ate it for lunch the next day. The size of the wings were larger than your average American wing, pretty normal for Korean wings. All in all, it is a decent addition to several pochas in Oakland.

The restaurant blared rap music with every other word being the N-word. It was AWFUL!! Next, an unhoused man came in a respectfully, quietly asked for a cup of hot water ..... for his ramen noodles and they turned him away. I will NEVER go back to this place again. They're insensitive on MANY, MANY levels!!!!!

I liked the soup I got but my wife-to-be (were getting married in a few weeks) and my cousin in law didn’t get their food for like 15min after the soup. This wouldn’t have been an issue but the food was cold. It was giving “I’ve been sitting on the ledge for 10min because the server is too busy” vibes. I asked the server if he could give us a discount and he said, “No” and walked away. At first I was little shocked, and my friends/family thought it was very rude. I went up to the server and asked him again if he could comp us and he said no, and he seemed very frustrated. I asked him if he was ok or if he was stressed out he said “yeah, a little.” I told him sorry you’re having a hard day. Then I asked him if I could have some of the lollipops and he said I could take as many as I wanted. I still left him a tip because I think he’s just having a frustrated proletarian experience, but I don’t think he should have put that stress on us fellow proletarians.

BEST Korean fried chicken, ever. I’ve had it at a lot of places and this one was the best and consistently good each time we ordered it. The fried chicken (boneless) is super tender, not dry at all, tasty batter and crunch, and good flavor.Kimchi spam fried rice is SO good! I’ve had it at other places where it’s too salty ans too much gojichan paste. They make it perfect at Azit.Bibimbop- YUM! Fresh ingredients and veggies. This is my new favorite Korean spot because every dish we’ve ordered here is super tasty and delicious. Clean and good service.

Get their fried chicken, cheese corn, and rice cakes. Avoid their pancakes b/c it was so soggy--not crispy at all. It might have just been undercooked the day i went, but girl consistency is key, so eat the pancake at your own risk

Not an authentic Korean food may be a cool spot if you're going for fried chicken and drinks with pumped up music playing in the background. This is not the best spot to experience traditional Korean cooking, though I can see college students coming here for drinks, fried chicken and bar-like ambience. (Just guessing.) The staff was friendly but being busy I had to go up to the counter to request more napkins, water, etc.

after a night out and if it's not too late, my friends and I love coming here, it's such satisfying and delicious food. I have gotten the kimchi udon a couple times, and especially with the colder weather rn, it's so nice to slurp up such warming, flavorful broth. I also love that there's a lot of components in the udon, instead of just noodles and kimchi. There's like variations of fish cake I think and they were also kind enough to fulfill my request to add bulgogi, which I greatly appreciate because a meal doesn't feel complete without meat for me personally. All my other friends' food was absolutely delicious as well and the people who work there have all been very sweet.
