Disrespectful white female bartendar ; long curly black hair with optical lenses (glasses) San Diego Padres baseball fan … seemed to work 5pm -7pm happy hours…. Weekdays. Z yelling at a high decibel at a black male veteran and me for speaking about Black history TO EACHOTHER and AMONGST EACHOTHER…. like for example about the Moors and doesn’t respect boundaries as a bar maid not to insert herself in our intellectual conversation. I asked then while she threw a literal tantrum …. requested for the owner contact to escalate after I saw the whole implosion of hers unfold from patio eventually and initially the counter. I even called the phone number I found online and she was handing up and talking more nonsense . I get along ok for several years and hell no to this . Then learned from sister bar hours later when I attempted to discuss this- Didn’t get my experience out and was “ 86” by other white female slim bartender - dirty blonde hair from neighboring bars ( Drexl etc) where shifts are shared between t the two bars ( plus) 355 and Drexl on 19th in OAKLAND etc nearby. I left a voicemail very unsatisfied. No return. I been a patron longer than either of the UNREASONABLE supremisists behaving workers been working there at either 355 Bar and or Drexl who came to further insert. Why be in Oakland ???????? That management style is unacceptable and unwelcome here in Oakland.
I had the best time ever in the Bay Area with my adult kids and my friends. Love the bartenders 🤪

Good drinks, fun events, great staff!
Really nice speak easy giving 60s to 80s vibes mirrors everywhere. It’s one way in one way out leather seating wooden tables. I recommend it for business professionals looking to go out or a group of friends that don’t want to be bothered. Either way I will be back they do not serve food therefore they got a low food rating. But there isn’t a array of alcohol. Can’t give you a good sense of service considering there’s only five people here but that may be a good thing.
Great bar is just a tad bit too dark inside.
The ultimate Noir bar. Martinis are shaken never stirred. Didn't see Eddy Muller because he was signing books at the Grand Lake Theater. Staff was fantastic. Don't go there hungry because the only food is popcorn. Definitely worth dropping in.
The bartender Carlos friendly guy, good drinks.
I see it on TCM FILM NOIR.
My Oakland spot since it opened... went here on my wedding day.

I stumbled upon a hidden gem bar in Oakland recently and had a fantastic experience. The drinks were strong and expertly made, just as I like them. The bartender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the visit feel welcoming and personal. The ambiance was cozy and unpretentious, adding to the charm of the place. It's definitely a spot I'll be returning to for more great drinks and friendly service!

Excellent venue: free entry, outdoor & indoor seating, unique atmosphere & charming, friendly bar staff (Tori tonight was delightful), clearly live vinyl music& dancing sometime during the week/weekend PLUS affordable drink options outside happy hour, 9.5/10 recommendation. ¡Namaste!

Found this bar as a prequel to a concert at the Fox, 2
Blocks away. Nice bar, friendly staff, and they have draft Belhaven, a first in the US in my experience. Main room has a 1930’s atmosphere.

Amazing design. They kept the old amber lights and woodwork. A gem to explore. Finer people have come here (Raiders history) and do now. Shhh.

I take it that Noir Alley’s Eddie Muller owns a piece of the place since he keeps broadcasting from here. I mean, there’s plenty more noir bars he could yak from. A tad sneaky, Eddie, but I’ll try it next time I’m in town. Ciao, babes.
