Great indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Delicious food - advice was to order both the vege combo and meat combo instead of the ultimate combo - gets you one of the lamb curries + all the veggies. The spiced tea pairs well with the lentil dishes. Service was kind and friendly. A very well run establishment.
I travel from east Oakland for this food. Delicious is an understatement.
This is my favorite Ethiopian food in the East Bay, which is saying a lot because there are a lot of good ones. The food is so tasty and affordable. Service is always on point, and the patio is fantastic.
Delicious Ethiopian food, one of the best in the area. This is our go-to for special occasions. We always get the big combo platter, which has a bit of everything, and it's all so tasty! They have teff-based injera bread available, which is great if you are gluten free. Service can be a little slow, and it's always on the cold side, even indoors, but the food is worth it.
Food was really good with really generous portions. The patio in the back is really lovely and comfortable. Service was really good and owner are so nice. Will definitely come again
Lovely spot, great food.
Amazing food and wonderful people. Beautiful indoor and patio seating
Tried Ethiopian food for the first time and it was delicious. Lentil samosa was little bit oily and would taste great with tamarind sauce or mint chutney but it was served with chilly sauce, which was not a great combination. Highlight of the lunch was Shiro combo. It’s a must order dish on the menu. Overall service was a little slow. Ambience was nice.
Excellent food. No eating in.
Good food.
Inattentive service. We had to go to the host desk (a room at the front of the restaurant) to get a jug of water. Nobody came to check on us before. Or even after!?

The Beef tibs are my favorite. The Injera isn’t too sour or, overbearing. Nice and, light. I dined in once and, the service was great. And, Delivery was up to par aswell.

We got the meat and veggie ultimate combo for two people. It was a lot of food! The teff bread was very good. Would go back.

Delicious food (and homemade honey wine), but what I best recall a few weeks later is the service, which was incredibly warm and friendly. We never had to ask for anything. A complimentary baklava for the birthday boy too!

Excellent eats, great prices, generous portions. I always recommend a veggie or mixed veg/meat platter at Ethiopian places if you don't know what's best. All wot was notably great, especially chicken and beef.
