I would say it was fine. Nothing special but good. The bagel didn’t taste as fresh as I’d hope (not bad in anyway but just not as tender - maybe it was just a little over cooked or toasted) but the sandwich was good. Also had a latkes - it was good but nothing special.Would go again but also still searching for a to-go bagel place

Food was okay but the lady who took the order was terribly rude. Very expensive and not worth the price.

The bagels are fresh and delicious, the spreads are the same. The service can be a little slow in that it can be a while before your order is prepared even if yours is the only order on tap as the preparers might be busy in the back. This can be a little disconcerting when one is heading into work and time is of the essence.Otherwise it is a great place.

Since the new ownership took over; this restaurant has gone so down hill it should be a crime for them to be allowed to use the name of the original establishment, Beauty's Bagels. The service is non existent, the bagels are awful, the food is not seasoned, the self serve coffee and water are empty, and the espresso machines have all been removed.

Bagels are ok but probably the best in the EastBay... so if you're in need of a bagel & in the area, I'd recommend take out. The interior is utilitarian so also fine for a quick bite. If you're driving there, just a warning, Telegraph has become a dysfunctional street & parking is a nightmare... but if you go early it's definitely doable.

Closer to 4.5 stars! Very pleasant little bagel shop. Old school Jewish deli atmosphere with solid bagels and coffee. Great menu that I hope to try more from in the future. Pleasant service! Self serve coffee was a little cold to start and they were more than happy to switch it for a fresh brew! Going back to the counter now to order some bagels for the weekend.

Beauty Bagel Shop greets you with an ambiance that is both unassuming and cozy. The décor is simple, with wooden accents and a laid-back atmosphere. They had nice R&B music playing that could be heard when sitting inside. While it lacks the flashy aesthetics of some upscale eateries, it has a charm of its own. Service was mediocre and straight forward, Staff member took the order and another staff member served bagels in a friendly manner. I opted for the "Classic" smoked salmon bagel. The bagel itself was a perfect balance of chewy and crispy, providing good combination of cream cheese and the smoked salmon. However, Regrettably the cucumbers I added to the bagel were on the soggier side, lacking the desired crunch. It was a subtle misstep that detracted slightly from the overall enjoyment. With crisper cucumbers, this bagel experience could have reached greater heights. The bagels had so much onions I was able to add extra onion to the third bagel i ordered with juts cream cheese and tomato. They also only had two options of bagel flavors to select from, onion and everything bagel. I normally would not go for either. Overall, it was not bad but i'm not sure i'd return the next time I am craving a lox bagel.

Great bagels BUT when you order online you CANNOT request them to cut the bagels, which defeats the purpose of ordering in

This place is located where it's not so busy but the food was great! Decided to pass by on our way home and would definitely come here again! Everything was fresh and customer service was great!

I’d give it a 0 if possible. Went in this shop for something to eat. Needless to say they only greet whom they choose. It was not a friendly environment for me at least but for others they were shown good customer service and attention. I also noticed that they were making my food with their bare hands and no gloves. I could have requested a refund but instead I decided it wasn’t worth it and tossed the food immediately. I hope they do better with customer service and take more precautions when it comes to food safety.

The old owners sold to Wise Sons & the place went downhill. Overpriced embarrassingly mediocre bagels. The Toronto style wood fired bagels we knew are no longer; such a shame. There used to be a line around the block on weekends; we went by this past Sunday (during their busy time) and there was one guy in line. What a waste of a great bagel recipe never mind the reputation that the old owners built.
