If you're a beer lover like me, this is the place for you. I read somewhere that this has the one of the largest collection of beers in the US.I specially made the trip from SF to Jack London square and boy, I was super super impressed. The servers are knowledgeable AF and let you try out any of the 50 beers on tap( except a few of the barrel and sours).I got the Shanghai Blonde and the MRAZ Mango Sour, which is probably the best sour I've had till date. I went there on a Saturday evening around 6pm and it wasn't very crowded. The interior vibe is amazing and really a work of art.I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Definite recommend from my side

I am so sad about Beer Rev closing. The most expansive beer menu with knowledgeable and friendly bartenders. Such a great outdoor space, but so fun to hang out indoors too. This place will be greatly missed!

Came here on 7-18-20 to grab a Russian River Pliney for President DIPA. Only providing ? to go and cashless payment using venmo.Very simple transaction and the workers were very friendly and safe. Definitely will be back again.

I still love everything about this place. They are doing some good limited service during the quarantine. 4 Tables outside the bar in the street. Draft beers in mason jars. Beers in growlers. Great craft canned beer. Rebeca is the best. Go there and try some new beers.

Great beer, great staff, great owner...my only complaint has ever been the bathroom- it would be nice if a busy beer bar had multiple bathrooms and I don't think it would lose it's punk dive-y cred if it was cleaned a little more. To their credit, as soon as COVID was a thing they really upped their sanitation game. The crowd is pretty diverse in all ways, which can be hard to find in a beer joint. It's easily my favorite bar, and I really hope they're around when things open back up.

Great dive bar in Oakland with some awesome beer selection. They had the Younger on Tap during Beer Week. Great outside patio. They do check ID card for everyone coming in so be ready. Inside the bar can get crowded. The place for great beers!

One of the best taprooms in Oakland. They have about 30 different beers on tap that you wouldn't normally find elsewhere. It's definitely more of a dive bar. Definitely not boogie or posh, and don't expect food. Oh and beware of their bathroom. It's quite an experience haha. If you're just down to have a great conversation, enjoy some fantastic beer in one sitting, Beer Revolution is your place.

I am 44 and look 44 and was refused service because I had no ID. My backpack along with my wallet with IDs had been stolen. I went to many other places and was not carded. Use some common sense.

If you are looking for an interesting spot to enjoy a good beer...this is your place! So much variety, so much character. Bartenders are super nice and will help you find your beer of choice, wether you are new to the game or a veteran. I door and outdoor seating, high volume but bartenders still make you feel like you are their only customer. Came in a busy Saturday afternoon alone and was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place alone or with a group.

We caught Beer Rev at a good time: early Friday afternoon. The bar was almost empty, so the service was personal and helpful. We found just the beers we were looking for and a cozy table by the window.
