Excellent service, food and cocktails! The fries are remarkable! The fried catfish is also delicious. We’ve been there a couple of times and they are attentive and always and to come back!

Not the best not the worse but it was okay thought it was better considering the reviews..

Best wings in the East Bay! Stopped in to visit my friend in Oakland and was pleasantly surprised. The Korean fried wings are hand breaded, tender, and nothing short of amazing. Looking for some heat though Catfish bites were absolutely perfect The cocktail list rivals any fancy rooftop in San Francisco Plenty of room to accommodate large groups. Conveniently located close to the convention center. Stop in to see Mikey or Paul during happy hour

Lovely, intimate bar and lounge. The owner, staff, and patrons are so friendly. Chef Willie makes the best bar food, including his famous Korean spicy BBQ wings, mac and cheese, and chocolate cake. Remember to buy a bottle of his delicious hot sauce.

So for trying this place on reviews I'd say it was ok. Binny's is the type of place for a drink a some easy food. As much as it is, the options weren't as i hope'd. The menu seemed appetizing on their google reviews but none of it matched and it was limited. Even staff didn't seem to know if certain items on the menu were still there. I will say though the time I ordered my food to getting to table was quick and good. The place was nice and small but definitely I wouldn't come here if it was a busy night.

I came in 6/8/23 to get a drink and maybe something to eat. I sat myself at a table around 5:10. It took a while for someone to come with a glass of water and even longer to get a margarita. I would never come here again. It was happy hour and I was in there, a group at another table near me and a couple at the bar. As a single woman, I didn't feel great going up to the bar to order, but I did after at least 10 minutes of waiting at the table. I ordered a margarita and the bartender said that he saw me, was busy and that I could sit back down. I ordered the margarita at least 7 minutes before a woman sitting at a table near to me ordered hers. She and I received our margaritas at the same time. The bartender made the margarita so boozy that another server (maybe Sarah) requested it back so that she could make a more appropriate margarita. I was crying by the time I received the margarita. The bill came and the bartender said that the margarita would be half off due to the wait. Because it was happy hour the margarita was $10. He only took $1.50 off of the charge instead of $5. When he took my credit card he said, "hope your day is better than everyone else's". When I asked to speak to the manager he came back to the table and said that he was the manager and that he didn't say that. He then asked what was wrong. I said I was confused why the woman at the other table and I received our drinks at the same time when I ordered mine before (and had to wait so long for service). He said "you're confused why the party that came in before you, received their drinks before you?" I said no, I was confused why that specific woman in the party received her drink at the same time as me when I went to the bar before her to order and she didn't even have to go to the bar to order. I left at 6pm. He was rude and left a lasting negative impression. I'll never come here again.

I'll start by saying this review is for their drinks only. Came in after dinner so didn't get to try any of the food. That said, the drinks were delicious! Tried the Rosie the Riveter, the Mint 2 Be, and the Hot Mez (not pictured). Besides them looking beautiful, they were also super balanced and tasty. They were all very good, but my favorite was the Hot Mez. It was spicy, sweet, sour. So if you like a hint of spice, I would definitely recommend.

Hip yet humble bar & gastro pub establishment great for dates, solo dining, or meeting with some friends. My burger was perfectly cooked and I appreciated the quality accoutrements. Extensive cocktail offerings but I keep it old school with an Old Fashioned which was 8/10. I'll definitely come back and try something else off their menu. *They are under new ownership. Their system for ordering was a little confusing at first but service was great otherwise.

Hosted an office happy hour at Binny's yesterday and had a wonderful experience working with Amy at Binny's ahead of time. Anyone who has had to organize work social outings on a budget knows the process involves lots of opinions. Amy made it super easy to reserve a spot, pre-order some food and even make some last minute changes all via email. We arrived and they had a table reserved for us and water waiting. The staff was so nice and the drinks and food were delish too. The fries and churros were a big hit. Thanks again to Amy and the great crew at Binny's.

Everything here tastes delicious, I was only thinking of getting a martini, but when I smelled the food the other people were eating, it piqued my curiosity and got one for me, it's was amazingly delicious

Binny's is delightful! I had somehow driven past this place many times, and finally went in. Its a great spot in the historic Old Oakland district. The art on the walls catches the eye. Its a modern Art Deco theme. Love the U-shaped custom built bar. The food has a Peruvian touch. I happened to hit the happy hour menu on my visit. Its Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 pm. A draft beer of their choice is $6. And all classic cocktails are $8 (think Manhattan, martini, margarita, old fashioned, etc.) They also have some snacks like hot links, pork bell bao, fried gigante beans, and cornnuts on sale for $5-$7. PRO-TIP: If you ask for a beer and a shot at the same time, they'll give BOTH to you for just $8 during happy hour. NOTE: Tuesday and Wednesday they close early at 10pm. And on Sunday and Monday they are closed entirely.
