OK after a bad week of having my passenger window broken at a stop light by Lake Merrit and purse stolen (with wallet, phone, car and house keys), this was the BEST pizza and caesar I have had in a long time, or ever! Plus look at the attached photo of the sentiment that someone took the time to write on the inside of the box! Makes me realize how even with the dark side of Oakland, the light still shines!!!

The staff was very nice about it but the pizza was really disgusting. I tried to eat it but I couldn’t and because they were about to close there’s really nothing they can do except for apologize. I suggest if you get the pizza with the spinach and tomatoes on it don’t do it it’s disgusting.

By far THE BEST PIZZA I have ever had outside of Italy. Outstanding in every way. We ate our pizza in the restaurant, which was a great choice to have it hot and fresh.

A pleasant surprise find in Oakland on New Year's Day. Real NY style pizza on the west coast. We ordered the New York pizza pie $26 (large - 8 slices). Plenty to take home. Reasonably priced. Choice of Medium and Large size pizza pies. Pizza was not being sold by the slice at this time. A decent variety in bottled micro brews. No beers on tap. The service was friendly and very welcoming. So many orders were for pickup this day, but the seating was adequate and could easily accommodate a party of 4-6ppl. The restaurant was very clean. Also, the neighborhood felt safe and was clean. We found street parking right in front of the restaurant. I would easily come again when in the area or wanting some NY style pizza.

We stopped by Bloom before a concert at the Fox Theater. We got half New York, half Momo. The Momo was delicious! The crust had the perfect thickness and crispiness.
Got a slice of pepperoni and thought it was excellent. Compared to outta sight in sf and mamas boy in Oakland, Bloom is just above those two in terms of inching closer to an authentic ny slice experience.

Pleasantly surprised by this place! We had the New York pizza, Long Island pizza, and garlic bread. Everything was tasty! The ingredients were super fresh, and I was shocked by how much I loved the Long Island (bacon and pineapple) since I usually don't like either bacon or pineapple on my pizzas. Will come back again soon!

My friends and I were looking for good pizza in the first Friday neighborhood since our last bad experience at a pizza spot near broadway and grand. This is our new spot. The service was friendly and professional the food much more reasonably priced than the patio pizza spot that rhymes with brakes.

Just a heads up, even though the custom pizza option says and pictures buffalo mozzarella, they will not use it unless you ask. I even called and they told me I was wrong about what their online menu says. Pizza is really good but I paid around $7 extra for basically a regular pepperoni.
