Food was just okay, but over priced. I would not have the brussel sprouts again, they drowned them in lemon juice and we're not good.

Been here for 3 events, hits every time. New years and Easter brunch, and shrimp & grits cook-off. Delicious soul food buffet, never disappoints.

I attended a celebration for the volunteers at the “white elephant sale”.Champagne and small bites were carefully displayed. I want to experience more. Atmosphere and food delights.Vegetarian options: Salads, sandwiches, desertsDietary restrictions: Vegetarian, fish, deserts were to die for. Plenty of helpful and polite service. Layout was spaced comfortably and lines went fast.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of beautiful garden space and options for seating at different levels

There was a small bouquet of fresh flowers at every table and everything was clean and cozy. You grab your own utensils and and napkins and there is a canteen for water. We tried the Mac and cheese, honey cornbread, deviled eggs, and fried chicken and all the food was really good and fresh.

The food here is amazing!! They have drinks and mimosas. The atmosphere is great. I frequent the Sunday Brunch where I can listen to a DJ set, eat good food, and watch the game of the day on a big screen! Can't get better than that. And when I am done, I can take a stroll thru the museum.

Solid soul food buffet. Very delicious, like made it myself, and I'm a good cook (I'm the family holiday/party go to). Was shocked by the price but because the food was so good it was worth it. I'd definitely go

Omg what can I say? I love everything about the place and the amazing staff. They make a delicious cornbread that, with just one taste, you begin to smile.

The atmosphere is nice, our expectations were high. I ordered the chicken and sweet potato waffle. The chicken was very dry, the waffle was just ok. My friend ordered the Gumbo Ramen, which she didn't care for either. Very disappointing, considering all the hype.

Came in behind a huge party. Southern fried chicken was very dry no flavor. Very over cooked. Red bean and rice were delicious, the deviled eggs were pretty good(not fried) and the corn break was good too. I would reorder the brown sugar lemonaide.

If I didn't know any better, I would guess that this place had opened recently. Why? It was very, very poorly run.It took too long to get seated, with people constantly walking by without acknowledging us (this was a consistent theme). It took far too long for anyone to visit us once seated. It took too long for the drinks to come.We were told that fries were not available as a side, but only with their chicken sandwich. I have never heard of a restaurant that wouldn't serve you a side of fries if you wanted to pay for it.Ordered the half bucket of chicken. It was dry, seasoning was mediocre, and it didn't come with their hot honey. We asked about it, and it took forever for them to tell us they were out of hot honey (would've been nice to have known when ordering), and that they'll bring syrup instead, and even that took forever.I also asked if they had cornbread (I mean, it's a soul food joint, gotta ask, right?). She wasn't sure it was "on menu" that day. She never followed up on this.Part of the problem is a terrible layout. Nothing is nearby for the servers. They have to go all the way to the back for simple things. I didn't even bother asking for ketchup because I didn't want to wait 15 minutes for it.The other part of the problem is the staff. They occasionally check in, but generally don't seem to care that you're there.I would definitely not go back. I honestly can't think of anything nice to say about the place, other than to say that at least there were quite a few people eating there? Good for them. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day or something, but no excuse for inattentiveness when it crosses all employees, not just our waiter.
