Very well done high end Mexican food. My only issue is it tends to close without any update on their socials lol. Still, great restaurant
The food was good but a little overpriced.
We had the pork carnitas they were well done cooked, the fish tacos were humongous and we add an extra one for $6 , they were ok. The chips salsa and guacamole were very tasty and delicious (highly recommended), for cocktails we had the Tepache con Tiki and a Vampiro, we were not impressed, I think they still need to work on their cocktails. We also had the Pot De Creme for dessert and it was very tasty
We will definitely go back to try a couple of dishes and other drinks
We had an incredible dinner at Bombera! The roasted chicken mojo de ajo was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—comforting and bold in the best way. The grilled swordfish en salsa verde was equally impressive: perfectly cooked with a bright, herbaceous sauce that complemented the fish beautifully. The salsa verde was fresh, light, and great kick! —we’ll be back soon!
We ordered the salsa and guacamole, the duck carnitas, the potato taquitos, the Yam quesadillas and the cardamom cake. Our total was $123.
The food was delicious with the duck and potato taquitos stealing the show! The flavors are amazing and I enjoyed this meal so so much.
OMG so good. This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. The food is fresh and so flavorful. I was with a group of six total and we shared everything. A wonderful restaurant and staff.
It seems that Bombera may be a victim of its own success. We had high expectations based on the positive press and glowing reviews. No doubt, the menu is inventive and appealing. Unfortunately, the execution was just not there.
We started with chips and guacamole. This consisted of a small spoonful of guacamole made with under ripe avocado, served with a dollop of rather bland red salsa. The chips were heavy and greasy, and sat in a pool of oil. The spicy carrots had a nice spicy flavor, but were literally swimming in grease. For the main, I had the carnitas. They were fine, if unexceptional. My partner had the fish tacos. While they make a nice pic, the execution was again lacking as the fish was excessively breaded, with the breading absolutely saturated in oil.
What was perhaps most surprising was the absence of a vibrant homemade salsa to bring the flavors alive. Essentially admitting to defeat on the salsa front, the mains were served with a bottle of commercial habanero salsa.
The one bright spot was our server. She was fantastic and really did her best to deliver a special experience.
Finally, a comment on the seating. Based on reports that the indoors could be noisy, we elected to reserve a table on the outdoor “heated patio.” to call this patio heated is a big stretch. We saw two operational heaters serving more than a half dozen tables. Based on the number of other patrons who had full hoodies deployed, we were not the only ones who had erred in assuming that “heated” actually meant a heat source that would ward off the evening chill.
First, they sat us outside with no heater, which wasn’t very comfortable. As for the food, everything we ordered chips, spicy carrots, fish tacos, and pork carnitas was super greasy and lacked flavor. The queso had just a little bit of cheese on top and didn’t taste like much. Overall, the food was disappointing. The best part of our visit was our waitress she was very nice and friendly!
Mexican restaurant with good variety of fresh delicious cousins.
Reasonably priced to quality and atmosphere.
Good to have reservation otherwise expect a wait time and or bar seating
Has decent indoor and outdoor seatings. Full bar with bar counter and bar seating.
Open kitchen makes it a bit noisy but still fine with pleasant background music.
Service was a bit messy with couple mistakes but not bothered much like bringing wrong order etc.
Good for date night, couples, small group, meetup and seniors.
All in all, will go back again.
Great food and service!

I asked for blue corn quesadillas. My tortilla was not blue. Basically it’s a Mexican restaurant for non Mexicans. I enjoy upscale Mexican food but I’m not sure what this place is. Its comes of as Latino inspired dishes but I believe the they cater to mostly other folks. Also why was the fish so big on the tacos. It’s a large piece of fish on a tiny tortilla. I get it. Not all Mexican food is what we believe but this place veers off too much.

Second time at Bombera. Just as good as the last time. Atmosphere is inviting. Multiple dishes for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Took the two most picky eaters i know, and they enjoyed every dish more than the last. Staff is great too. 👍🏾 It's a great location for drinks, celebrations and just a good meal. Only slightly negative is be aware it is noisey and lively inside so don't go here if you are trying to have a quiet dinner.
