We’ve been in multiple times, enough to almost be “regulars”. Every experience has been better than the last. The food is amazing. Michael really kills it with all of his regular menu items and totally knocks it out of the park with his specials! Oh, and the beer…??!! Delicious. We love that we can always take a few of our favorites home with us to enjoy between visits. Super friendly staff, we love Sophia and Chris and look forward to getting to know all the new folks too. Highly recommend. Easy parking. Super safe area.

Amazing location for a private event. The most affordable event venue I've found, very cool vibe, nice staff, and great food and beer.

My organization hosted a happy hour for 40 people from across the country in the Buck Wild lounge and boardroom. We had a great time. The space was perfect for our social gathering. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food and drink were tasty. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience with some friends for a Sunday night early dinner in Oakland. Tried their Pale Ale and Rogue Wave IPA through a curiosity and I cannot contain my excitement to FINALLY ENJOY BEER. I've been gluten-free diagnosed celiac since 2009, so this place is huge. Most gluten free beer I tried in the past was a gross disappointment that left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. It was never worth the money. This place was. Ordered the Fish Tacos, also never had beer battered fish, excellent. Even my gluten eating friends enjoyed the food and beer.Ordered the flight, super reasonably priced and totally fell in love with their Alpenglow IPA. 10/10 Will be back!

We've been customers of Buck Wild having been to the brewery and eaten there a few times and had a wonderful experience hosting our baby shower in the private events space most recently. We're not gluten free but you really wouldn't notice either way, the beer and food are delicious (of course our gluten free family and friends were absolutely thrilled that they could eat everything for once!). We picked Buck Wild for our baby shower because compared to other breweries and event rentals in the area, the cost was great and the space is BEAUTIFUL! It also offered a private area away from the main brewery which made the event more intimate with our family and friends. And their drinks included not just beer, but wine as well and several non-alcoholic options for adults and children. Throughout the whole process, the event coordination team was lovely and quick to respond. The process was easy and straightforward to follow and they were all very accommodating. I felt like they went above and beyond. Once there, the chef introduced himself as well as the staff on hand. Our guest were raving about the food, service, and space and how they planned to come back. We felt well taken care of. If you're looking for good vibes, good food and drink, and the best private event space rental definitely check them out.

Nice people, feels like a bowling alley. Cheap ambiance. Hate, hate, hate the pay at the table feature. It forces you to enter your CC number.

When it comes to Gluten Free, this place can't be beat!!! This is our 3rd trip here this year and we really hope this place takes off. Their gluten free beers legitimately compete with the rest and should be available in every restaurant on the west coast. The food is good as well but I think part of the reason it's so good is they have dishes gf people likely haven't had in some time ie deep fried tacos, fish and chips etc. highly recommend

Pros: The space is really lovely and I appreciate that they’re trying to do a fully GF brewery experience. Also, the fries and nachos were passable.Cons: Some of the food (e.g., fish and chips) was honestly inedible and a lot of the beer is not good. I realize that the beer will taste different than non-GF beer, but many of the flavors were not balanced (many way too sweet, some that tasted like straight malt liquor) and a few of our beers had a smell that I can only describe as something between mop water and dirty socks.Overall, a couple of the beers were okay and their mission is good, but I’ve had much better.

This is a super friendly and chill place to hang out. Our waitress Sophia was fun and engaging, and recommended the fish tacos (below). They were crispy and fresh, and perfectly dressed. I had a nice beer in the cutest little glass - $2! What a nice place!

I haven’t been to the tap room but ordered their beer for delivery. They overnight anywhere in California which is great! I have celiac and it has been devastating as a huge craft brew fan and home brewer prior to being diagnosed. Very few fully gluten free craft breweries even exist. I tried their Chocolato Affogato Stout and Kokua Project Session IPA. Both are spot on to style, indistinguishable from “normal” beer, and just super tasty. Haven’t had anything as great since Colorado’s Holidaily or Washington’s Ghostfish. I haven’t had any celiac reactions which is great and I will trust them going forward. This place is a gem.

Highly recommend! This place is a 10 on 10!!! Love Buck Wild Brewing! The food is 100% gluten free & absolutely delicious! We ordered the Burger, Fish Tacos, Brussel Sprouts & Fish & Chips! I wish I had taken photos of our delicious meal but we couldn't resist devouring it the minute it arrived. The place has a relaxed vibe & a very charming interior. The service is fast & friendly. The beers are gluten free also & I'm sure they're awesome...I didn't try those. Will definitely return soon!

Great space, spot-on service, with good food. The fish tacos were delicious and the Alpenglow beer was spot on. Hard to believe it was all gluten-fee.
