While there's a prominent 'hiring' sign in the window, I've observed a distinct lack of diversity among the staff. Furthermore, it appears that few, if any, of the employees live in the Rockridge area. This raises questions about their hiring practices and whether they are genuinely providing opportunities for local residents.
Beyond the hiring concerns, I've frequently encountered communication barriers due to language differences, which impacts the level of professional service customers receive. As a US citizen and a member of this community, I believe companies like Burger King have a responsibility to consider local employment and ensure their staff can effectively serve their customer base.
I urge Burger King's management, both at this location and regionally, to investigate these issues. It's crucial to address both the hiring practices to better reflect and support the local community, and to ensure that all customers receive professional and accessible service. This situation needs to be rectified. So I'm going to give this location 1 star because zero isn't an option, and this is based on my repeated negative experiences with their hiring practices and the resulting impact on customer service and local community engagement.

My brother and I had gotten the HTTYD meal, which, was in full honestly awesome. However. At the drive through they had an AI taking the orders which had been incredibly frustrating and made all of us rather upset as it was difficult to communicate for us.
Best place to get your vegetarian impossible burger. Use their app to get almost half off prices and $1 deals for many items on the menu. Wednesdays are whoppers at a great price too. Highly recommended but must use app!!
The food is alright, the only issue is for some reason the buns on the burgers have a weird aftertaste, like sweet other than that the burgers are big and toppings are fresh.
If you can find parking this time of year. The staff is ok but it seems like they pay more attention to the drive through window. You can wait a bit before you get your order going.
