I stopped here while in Oakland and to be honest, the food was pretty average. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and eggs, and it tasted the same or worse than the ones I can make at home. They also forgot to add avocado to it. I also tried the yogurt parfait and the yogurt had a really strange texture.

Every now and then in my travels I find a spot that is utterly perfect. This is such a spot. The staff are genuinely friendly and happy to see you and the owner lives what she does. The breakfast burrito is very good. Might be better if they didn't cook the eggs and warm food in the micro but who cares it was good. The coffee is also very good. If you are in the area and want a solid breakfast and coffee this is a great spot.

The food was amazing, great quality and even better service! I had the Nutella and strawberry crepe and the chicken and pesto crepe I loved that they were so friendly and generous. The decor is cute too!

I pass by this cafe shop so much. I'm embarrassed that I haven't stopped by. It's a small Latin owned business. The inside is so pretty it gives me farmhouse vibes. The owner was super welcoming and kind. GO SUPPORT!! The hot chai latte was the perfect amount of sweetness. The chai taste was rich in flavor with the perfect blends. I can't wait to come back and try different items on the menu.
Pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Really good vibes inside, kind staff and fun Jesus-themed signage and artwork everywhere. The food was delicious! We were delighted by the range of cuisines and flavor offerings on the menu. The crepe and Birria taco were just what we needed to start the day. Thanks so much!

I just found a treasure of a coffee shop. If you find yourself near the Oakland Coliseum and are hungry, or in the mood for an espresso and good conversation, you have to try Cafe Monte Sion. I missed breakfast at home, (the norm in this busy pandemic) and stopped for a snack. I was treated to an amazing omelette with avocado, onion, pepper Jack cheese, and salsa. I also enjoyed an Almond Milk Latte. Check this place out and enjoy!
