I just moved back to Oakland about a week ago from Maui, Hawaii. I’ve never been a Starbucks kind of person, just locally owned coffee shops. And I must admit this place is amazing! Plus I live 3 minutes up the street so it’s convenient for me. Coffee is really good and the Corazon that I had the other day was delicious.Vegetarian options: Don’t know much but I seen on the wall on their menu they have selections of vegetarian food.

Really solid coffee shop. Mostly a to-go place, I'd say. But I've enjoyed many a latte here over the past two years or so. Their bagel sandwiches hit the spot after a morning workout as well.

Visit in our friends and they took us here, a popular local spot for those not in a rush. The coffee takes a while to make. You order at the counter and they will call your name when it’s ready.They were nice enough to let our large dogs inside, as long as they didn’t sit in the benches. Several tables and chairs.We tried three different empanada flavors, chicken was my favorite over the corn or the beef. They had to specially brew decaf espresso for me as they did not have it available right away.

I have a very bad experience in this Cafe,I order a late and a bagel waiting there 20 minutes and my order is not ready, try to ask them to refund me the money because I didn't have more time to wait and they refused to refund me the money even when they didn't start doing my order. So I stayed hungry with less money.....

They are unnecessarily slow. Consistently have to wait 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich. World ground down the street does it in like 5 minutes. Next door has the most amazing breakfast sandwich. It's too bad, it's a poc business i wish it was

I adore the feeling of a small business cafe. I came here for a snack and a place to study. Plenty of seats. The beef empanada was sooo delicious and I would come back for the empanada again.

Great neighborhood joint. Art on walls and low-key vibe. When I went, there were a ton of BIPOC folks hanging out and doing work.I got a chicken empanada and Bali pour over. It takes awhile to get food / beverage, but the wait was well worth it! The empanada was really great - savory, buttery, and just the right amount of filling.Would definitely come back!
