I had a great time. It was a beautiful Sunday. Me n my sis went to brunch then got on the ferry to sf ( a side quest) then we ended up here.. the dj was great and I danced all night. We didn’t spend any money 💅🏾 someone got a table for us and the drinks were free HOWEVER my car window got busted

Only issue I had was the $20 cover charge on a Sunday evening. If it weren't for my son's birthday, I would not have paid the cover charge and gone elsewhere.

I’m gonna lie I love the cave out there In Oakland they have good customer service but they have Excellent security services outside the building when they do the Pat downs we’re good they know us, but when you got Bad vibes from a security guard trying to tell you can’t record nothing up inside the venue and I always been recording and I’m a blogger. I’m gonna let it be known you don’t do that. You can’t be racist about it. You need to work on your people skills and your security guard skills cause I’m a security guard as well observe and report and that’s it. You’re not a bouncer Bro, just do your job. I’m letting you know that I have every right to record you telling me I can’t record nothing but you got everybody else record out there and you wanna pick on a light skinned person like me cause I’m not black enough that’s being very racist and I don’t like it. The whole energy last night was all foul fights were attended. One girl passed out on the stairway. It was too overcrowded. The food was good. I love the owner. She make sure I was good but tell him I’ll come back on another time next time I’ll get there early. I still give it a four star but the security guard I’m bout to post my picture with him on here. He need to work on his people skills.

I've been coming to Cave for about two years now, and it's consistently one of my favorite spots in Oakland. The staff is always kind, attentive, and truly makes sure everyone feels taken care of and comfortable.
My sister and I have bought sections multiple times, including for our birthdays, and every experience has been great. Everything is smooth, organized, and stress free, which makes celebrating actually enjoyable.
They also bring in great DJs, so the music is always on point, and the food is genuinely great too, which is a nice bonus for a bar/club. What really sets this place apart is how safe and comfortable it feels, which isn't always easy to find in a bar or club setting. The vibe is fun, it's absolutely worth the money, and I always leave having had a great time. Highly recommend! IG: @caveoakland

Couldn't really tell if it gets poppin on certain days since it was a bit dead when we went on a Saturday. The lady that was checking us in was nice, though. This review only has to do with the atmosphere when we went since we left 10mins after we arrived.
Edit: Went back here last night. It was poppin. Had a good dj who played good music..drinks were affordable and good. Hosts at the front were accommodating.

Price and service,way too expensive, table service, only , hookah, only on one section, when it was clearly being saved for friends. Empty tables sat, open. For no reason. DJ was off the hook, too pricey for the quality.

I went here for a Virgo birthday and what can I say it's Oakland so they didn't disappoint. Drinks were on point and so was the music. Smart to have the water pitcher out as well. I definitely drank more water here than any other club do to accessibility.
