Great space, out of this world pizzas. Hot honey & brie bar pie is the best thing they have on their menu at the moment, in my opinion. I like the option to order everything at the table via QR code, it means no time spent waiting in line and more time for socializing with friends.

Good beers and great pizzas. The duck confit and the hot honey and brie pizzas were really good.

Solid beer. But watch out for rude service. Three instances in one visit where clearly the team working there was miserable. And passing it on to the customers. Kind of lame. Beer is supposed to be fun. Lighten up team at Cellarmaker Oakland.

Highly recommend their brie and hot honey pizza! It also comes with Asian pears and pistachio. The crust was simply amazing.. why can't all crusts be like this?! My partner doesn't like crusts at all, but she wouldn't stop complimenting it.Also ordered their coffee & cigarettes, which is a smoked coffee porter. Recognized St. Frank since we had it back in SF.

Great place to have a beer!Came here with the wife before a concert and it was packed on a Saturday night. They have Excellent beers on tap.I was Excited to try their Detroit pizza but the name sounded better than it actually tasted. It was just okay! Meatballs were a lot better.Big projector for sports games.Stop in for their excellent beer.

I've been a fan of their beers for years now. I've never actually been to one of the brewery locations, but have had their beers when it was on tap at beer bars or when friends within my craft beer group have brought cans/bottles to shares. This location is right by Jack London square (if not located within the square?). The space feels like a hybrid brewery and a clean, nicer pub/ restaurant. In terms of service, you order at the bar/ counter when you walk in or you can order from a QR code (toast tab if I recall) and they bring your food and drinks. A friend of mine said their bar pies were really great, so that's what I wanted to order. They also have Detroit style pizzas that sound and look delicious (maybe next time). I ended up ordering the seasonal bar pie, which at the time, was the fall harvest. The toppings just sounded so amazing. A variety of fresh seasonal vegetables.... the pie is cut up like a grid so you can pick up small pieces and eat easily and these are very shareable. The crust had nice caramelized cheese that provided a nice crunch and concentrated flavor. Just a really big fan. I would love to try the pepperoni, but it's hard to pass up the seasonal pies. Oh and as luck would have it, they had one of their barrel aged stouts (my fave!!!) on tap during the visit. It was the Old Rip Van Winkle Vastness of Space. It had everything I loved about BA stouts. I rated it high on Untappd as well (the high average suggests I'm not alone in loving this beer). Just a really cool spot and if you are a fan of their beer or beer with good food in general, this place is a place that should be frequented. I was here on a Saturday afternoon and parking along the street, especially if you don't mind walking a bit, was really easy to find.

It's been on my list to try this new place in Jack London. We order the birria pizza and polenta fries and 2 beers. The beers did not impress me much since there are so many competitors in the area, but the food, the food was worth a visit. The polenta friends was fried to perfection and eaten with that marinara, it was a match made in heaven. The marinara was flavorful and rich, the sauce itself is worth visiting this place. The pizza? While a little pricey, was great as well. The dough had a crunchy outside and a soft chewy inside, the toppings and dipping sauce was a perfect combination. Tldr: beer was ok, food was great, just a little pricey for pizza

We seated ourselves and then proceeded to order by scanning the QR code at the table. My bf ordered some 5oz IPAs and stouts. The pours of stouts were quite expensive. Even so, they were really good. We also ordered a Detroit style pizza- Eggplant Marinara. It's not my favorite kind of pizza, since I don't like thick crust. I thought it was also kind of pricy at $25 (4 slices). The best thing about it was the gooey mozzarella. When we finished eating, our plates and napkins were cleared. We were still enjoying the beer though. At this time, I spilled water on myself. I asked the waitress for a napkin, and she told me I could get paper towels from the bathroom. I didn't understand why she couldn't have given me a napkin. It kind of put a damp(er) on my experience here.

Super fun atmosphere, amazing beer and delicious pizza. This location has quickly become our casual date night spot. If you like beer you have to try Cellarmaker's beer!

Heck yeah, a Cellarmaker in the East Bay! Great location, central to Jack London, good bars, and breweries nearby but not a ton of great pizza options like this place. Service is chill because you can order via QR for the table, so good for groups and splitting.I’ve been to their original location over 3 times now and have always loved their pizza and beer selection, but I was not as pleased with this location. The Detroit-style pepperoni was burned, in hindsight maybe we should have said something, but it just wasn’t edible on the outside since it was way overcooked. It’s usually got a nice burn on the outside of the melty cheese, but this was hard as a rock, I just couldn’t eat the crust. A bummer because that’s typically the best part. The birria was good but the sauce that it came with was insanely spicy. The pizza needed a little bit of spice, so I added a healthy amount, expecting it to be like a typical hot sauce but this thing blew my socks off and nearly ruined the pizza. When I only added the tiniest amount, it was great, but usually when you give that much sauce, you’d expect it to be more medium, not super-hot. Not a big deal, but just a note. The flavor was awesome though, just not well-balanced.Good beer selection and it would be cool to have some more non-alcoholic options like a non-alch beer, but the hop water was cool to see on the menu and was tasty.I would still come back and give this place a try but hope they can be more aligned with their SF location.

My favorite brewery in the Bay Area. So glad they moved to Oakland and also have the Detroit style pizza like in Bernal Heights. One of the few Bay Area breweries that shows sports too!
