Chica has been around the corner from my apartment for several years now and I'm so glad to see they have taken root on the neighborhood.I had my first coffee from here today which has cinnamon and some other magic in it, and basically I'm never going to Starbucks again.Tomorrow I plan to try bacon and egg breakfast tacos and a shrimp mexi-bowl with cucumber and escaveche for brunch. If their food is anywhere as good as their coffee, I will be adding a fifth star..To be continued...Part 2I planned to have the bacon & egg tacos but due to a shortage they have been taken off the menu for now.Ultimately I decided on the vegetable tacos. These robust babies are stuffed with huge chunks of grilled vegetables, beans, scrambled eggs, and cheese, plus Tapatíos. Off the chain yummy!!Also ordered the Diablo shrimp bowl with half salad half Spanish basmati rice. The shrimp was grilled perfectly and the red sauce is lick the bowl tasty. Must order extra on the side next time.Overall, I was very happy with my meal and I will definitely be ordering from here again very soon.Parking is challenging, but after circling the block, a spot can usually be found within a short walk.
the service was great food was amazing it came fast and hot chicken and waffles definitely recommend the strawberry lemonade was great
I LOVE Chica! The food is delicious, it feels homey and friendly! I would eat here every week (it's right in my neighborhood) but I struggle with the lack of eco-friendly containers and thus don't eat here very often. All the food is served in thick plastic takeout containers. I wish they would switch to more environmentally friendly options like compostable / paper containers. Almost all the other restaurants around have. I also wish that if you ate there, they would serve you in reusable plates and bowls. Besides this, LOVE Chica! Their carnitas are to die for and their weekend specials have me drooling just thinking about them.
Kind staff, yummy food! Only complaint is that they use single use, plastic to-go containers for every meal! I would so appreciate if they would switch to compostable materials as most plastic ends up in the landfill and give dine in customers reusable ceramic plates and wash them.
Excellent horchata (got the coconut dirty horchata). Fantastic vegetable medly and salsa verde, plenty of options for different diets including Vegan.
Chilaquiles do not disappoint! Can’t wait to go back and try more off the menu. The coffee menu is definitely unique. I tried the Coconut Horchata Coffee it was just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.
Seating is LIMITED, wait times can be high, it’s on a busy road that people fly down that is one way so cross your fingers for a parking space and if you’re an early bird, their hours are not for you. If you can look past all of that, their food is fresh and delicious and most their staff is amazingly kind. We always get orange juice, some kind of waffle be it with fruit or chicken. AND chilaquiles. This last time we went we got red AND green and our chicken and waffle. This past time we went I was a tinge disappointed as my chips were soggy and the chicken wasn’t at its usual- but still great nonetheless. We’ll still come back! Also to add: my husband loves their fried chicken torte.
Everything I've tried at chica has been delicious! But their chilaquiles take the crown ! And the flan ..
I live down the street and every time I drove by this place I kept saying to myself "I should go there." Well today was the day and I regret... not going sooner. As everyone has said, it's affordable and delicious food. I got a fried chicken torta, my gf got the chilaquiles, and we both got a dirty horchata. All that came out to be $32!!! The portions stretched us two meals. The food was absolutely delicious. Automatically moved into "neighborhood favorite" with one trip.FWIW -- staff was super friendly even though it was extremely busy when we went. It added a nice touch to a beautiful Sunday brunch. Can't wait to go again!
Nice place for a good brunch, the prices are reasonable too. But they don't really have seats for customers to sit down and dine in. (Only like 2 tables on the sidewalk)

Our fav spot in the neighborhood - amazing staff, incredible food and great vibe. The chilaquiles verde & pollo frito bowls with chimichurri sauce or chingona sauce are my go-to dishes, but you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. Their drinks are amazing, especially their fresh OJ & horchata.
This is my favorite little spot in the neighborhood! The fresh squeezed orange juice hits like no other and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I appreciate their mix and match approach with the bowls. Staff are always nice and the service is fast.
Good food, nice selection. Support local
Really wanted to love, but the polenta dish (recommended by the hostess) was bland, flavorless, lacking seasoning. I wouldn’t recommend that dish — get something else!
I’m always down for healthy & yummy! I love that it’s always fresh, organic and locally sourced.
