Ive never been to a ghetto chipotle but, first time for everything.Staff is lazy.Ladies with babies the restroom allows men and women to socialize together don't go here if you want a clean and save restroom for your baby. Plus it's nasty.

I like this particular location on Broadway in Oakland. this is a very well run, Restaurant. The people there are serious about the cleanliness and the freshness of the food. They are not gonna kiss and hug you, but you can rely on their due diligence and the food is quite good.

For some reason the food here is extremely salty - order here twice thinking the first time was just a random mishap.. same issue a few weeks later. There’s a few workers here who make patronizing this place missable. There’s a younger male worker who stands around eating his food while near the checkout. Clearly no understanding of customer service and presentation

It was a good burrito bowl and the service was overall quick. Exactly what you would expect from a chipotle, a good but not amazing experience.

First off this is a newer location. However you wouldn’t be able to tell because it’s absolutely filthy from the outside to inside. Staff is very unpleasant and so was the manager. There is a very nice older woman who works there and I have Watched her be treated terribly several times by the rest of the staff because she moves a little slow. Been there 3 times and will never go again after this last time. I asked About something I seen As a secret menu item and the cashier was so rude I left Without ordering anything at all. I will Drive up the street to the chipotle by sprouts.

Date: 10/13/2023 Time: 3:45 PM 67° OvercastWhile on the AC#51A heading to Grand & Broadway to take care of business at the credit union, I noticed a Chipotle on the corner of 13th & Broadway. This Chipotle opened about 3 to 4 months ago. Return trip to Alameda via public transportation means a pit stop at Chipotle to pick up some food before I head home. At this time, Chipotle has a promo, a carne asada bowl at $12.65 (excluding tax). I also ordered my usual grilled chicken bowl. Price: $9.65. Okay, I splurged and added guacamole on both orders, which was $2.85 each. I have to admit that the young man preparing the carne asada bowl was skimpy on the beef. I had to ask for a tad more. The amount of the grilled chicken for the chicken bowl was fine. The value of both bowls (about $31.00) is okay. I can only speculate since this Chipotle is in Downtown Oakland, the prices might be slightly higher. Customer service is good. Employees are helpful, courteous and friendly. I did not have to wait long for my order. There was no one in Chipotle when I stopped in. However, I can just imagine during lunch time there would be workers in the different office buildings patronizing the business. My husband enjoyed the carne asada bowl and said it was delish. The beef was tender and had a "kick" to it. I know I will enjoy my grilled chicken bowl. I gotta finish writing this review before I start grubbing. LOL.Chipotle is a welcome addition to Downtown Oakland. There are two Chipotle's in Alameda - Alameda Landing and Southshore Center. Public transportation is near them. But this Chipotle is more conveniently located in front of the AC#51A at this location. Besides my preference is Chipotle over La Salsa in City Center Oakland. Hurray for this location.

I tried Chipotle Mexican Grill for the first time in Oakland, and I have to say, it was a pretty decent experience. I opted for the Carne Asada Bowl, which features their most tender cut of steak, grilled fresh, and seasoned with a flavorful blend of spices. The finishing touch of fresh lime and hand-chopped cilantro really adds a nice zing to the dish. The taste was good, and I appreciated that the portion size was quite satisfying. It's a straightforward and convenient option if you're in the mood for a quick and tasty Mexican-inspired meal.
