New ownership and management. Food has gone majorly downhill. Ingredients tasted like they came from Costco, no bread nor meat made fresh in house.

New favorite burger place. Haven’t had a thicker patty burger in forever, but this really hit the spot. I love the patty, very flavorful and I loved the smaller pieces as opposed to the chunkier ground beef in other patties I’ve had before. The fries were perfect, my style of fries. Crispy and soft on the inside. Highly recommend this place

This used to be my favorite spot for intentional, ethically sourced meat. Their burgers were excellent with high quality products including gluten free maripsoa buns. It’s not like that anymore. The staff is friendly and sweet, but the food quality has gone down significantly. Perhaps there should be a name change, otherwise old school clove and hoof customers like myself will be incredibly disappointed.

Fantastic food - the fish sauce Carmel fried chicken sandwich and the Philly cheesesteak were really, really good

This place is delicious. I eat here often for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast sandwich is the amazing! The fries are so good. It’s very cheap for the quality of the food. Can’t recommend enough.

Got food delivered and it was horrible. Meat was dry and tater tots were disgusting.
This is definitely not the same C&H from awhile ago. Don’t recommend at all.

Sad to see what happened to some places after covid. I'm glad that clove and hoof is still here..
Bigger menu.. no butcher. My steak sandwich was excellent!

Some excellent hot sandwiches. The burgers are large and juicy, and anything that comes out of their fryer -- fries, chicken, fish, tater tots are all top notch.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and make it a nice atmosphere to hang out in. They're also very accommodating for modifications as you like. I've convinced them a couple of times to put their curries on some fries and it is 👌👌

I never leave reviews good or bad---but for this place I have warn people do not eat here!!! this used to be an extremely high-quality butcher shop with equally high-quality food. Whoever bought and manages it now should not be in the food industry and should immediately fire their cooks. first of all the fact that it's now Indian food plus diner food is a big red flag. I should have trusted my gut about that yikes! Second, I ordered delivery as they offered two meals that were buy one get one free. Another red flag I should have not ignored. the lamb curry was full of terrible cuts of meat full of sinue and hard tissue. The bites of meat were not properly cooked to tenderness and were completely chewy and inedible. The fried chicken sandwich was a total disaster. The meat had no flavor and tasted like old frying grease. And it was overcooked almost burned. Additionally, it was a small piece of meat for what they were charging. The bun had half an inch of mayonnaise on it, which ruined the bread and made that also inedible. The side salad had more dressing on it than lettuce. It was 75% thick ranch and all the lettuce was completely wet, wilted, and a liquid. I've never heard of a to go salad being already dressed---the dressing always comes on the side. That's the logic of someone who doesn't understand their job or how to go food should be treated. The two slices of pickle and tomato that were included for the burger were clearly old and an edible. I stopped eating the food once I discovered this insane chicken sandwich disaster. It signals that there is also most likely a cleanliness issue in that kitchen. I doubt the people preparing this food, wash their hands or regularly deep clean the kitchen or hold to basic food safety protocols. i've never actively rooted for a restaurant to close. Avoid this place like the plague. I am currently trying to get a refund through the delivery service as this totally ruined my night and left me disturbed.

This place used to be a butcher. Now it is like a diner with typical sandwiches run by an Indian family. They have added an Indian menu to their repertoire. It’s an odd combination.
Hubby had a pastrami sandwich he said was great and I had saag paneer, which was quite rich and creamy. Portions were generous, everything came with side salads slathered in dressing.

awesome experience and quality of food was fabulous. We went there for casual snacks but ended up having a feast.. even after we figured it was vegetarian and we love non-veg. but we didn’t really miss it because of the variety of options in their menu. we were not going to have any dessert but we were glad we did.. everything was fresh, nicely dressed on plate and yummy.

The breakfast sandwich with over-easy egg is the best sandwich around, period. I’ve been ordering it for the last six months and felt a need to say thank you to Clove and Hoof. They prepare and cook with love which makes a huge difference.
