Overall worth trying but the selection of wines is ... odd. Also, we ordered quite a bit so I was quite surprised when I asked for a taste of a wine (which is sold by the glass) and was told, no tastes. That is a real downer and not a great way to engage guests at a wine bar. The charcuterie board was pricey but had very plain, grocery-store cheeses. It's no wonder they are not doing so well with attracting customers. The interior is cute and inviting but the wine, service and food could use an upgrade.

Had the best time at CoCo Noir Wine Shop & Bar on Saturday night! Four of us stopped in after dinner, and it was the perfect ending to the evening. I tried a delicious wine flight recommended by the manager—each pour was wonderful—but honestly, the highlight was the conversation. The manager shared the story behind CoCo Noir and the owner’s vision for creating such a beautiful respite in the heart of downtown Oakland.
This place is more than a wine bar—it’s a community space with heart, history, and intention. If you haven’t visited yet, make it a priority. You’ll be so glad you did! 🍷✨

Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at CoCo Noir. Shannon, the manager was very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel right at home. I was able to meet the owner as well, she was able to give us the history behind CoCo Noir and an overall view of Oakland and it's wine journey. I will always visit CoCo Noir when I am in town!!!
Coco Noir is a vibe. I love how they always have themed events and collaborate with other local black owned businesses for events. The staff is very nice, and it is always a good relaxing time when I visit.

Amazing wine options, and extended option for a flight. (Mine was sweet x fruity forward ) Partner and I easily parked nearby, but there is transit nearby and also Bike (including Lyft) parking nearby. They also host different types of events like happy hours and more.
