Trés bon! I’ve had lunch here several times and it’s always delicious. The portion size is great and not skimpy like some French restaurants. The restaurant is very busy on weekends. Outdoor seating is perfect for dogs. Cooper gives it 5 wags.

Perfect brunch spot. We got the tri berry crepe and Denver omelette. Delicious treat with big portions. I’m sure the house potatoes are delicious but we were craving fries and they were happy to sub it out. Didn’t realize how nice the outdoor seating was, we will bring our dog next time!

I order from this place at least once a month and it never disappoints. It's flavorful and decently priced! I like the Big Sur and The El Dorado.

I have been coming to this establishment in Oakland as well as throughout the whole Bay Area for really great consistent meals. Generous portions as always.

Breakfast was great, I got a Denver omelet, and my husband got a short stack of pancakes. We have eaten dinner at the location in Palo Alto, very good burgers. Very good food all around. My husband loves that we order and pay first, so we can leave when we want.

Anyone used to French and european Crêpes and galettes won’t recognise what’s served here. I ordered the crepe with blueberries and banana expecting a healthy portion of fruit with a crispy crepe. What I was served was a gloopy sweet mess of sugary syrup with cooked blueberries and bananas and a soft crepe. The sweetness was way too much for me. The whole dish tasted and looked like heart attack on a plate. My Italian American friend ordered a savoury crepe which wasn’t much better. Despite spending over 45 dollars we left it all and went for healthy tacos around the corner. Very disappointed with this place. Update - Just saw the owners generous response. I’ve added a star for him taking the time to respond. Yup, I’m at fault for not raising my complaint at the time so they could deal with it. And fair enough if it’s known not to be a french crepe place - not sure how people like me would know though - maybe make it clearer?

It lost much of its charm. It must be under new ownership or management. Portions are much smaller (industry wide somewhat) and the staff are not as warm. It was a family staple for us.

If I were trapped in a small mountain village in a blizzard for a few days, I'd be happy eating here. Otherwise, I can't recommend it. The flavors clash in unsettling ways and bear no resemblance to french savory crepes. (Why would you chop the ham into a julienne??) The potatoes seemed made in-house, but didn't have any flavor nor texture. If I do come back, I would only try their sweet menu, like french toast or a chocolate crepe--they already fooled me once on savory options.Be aware you're asked to tip before you receive your food or any table service.

This staple of the Rockridge has been here through thick and thin. Along with Ben 'N Nick's and Becky's Chinese Restaurant, these shops have withstood the test of time. How? It starts with good food that everyone knows will not change from week to week, day to day. Lots of options for the brunch crowd. Want something hearty, order from a plethora of breakfast choices from Benedict's, omelettes, scrambles, French toasts, and pancakes. There are sandwiches, burgers, pastas and healthy salads. Got kids? Got a kid's menu with more than your usual chicken tenders along with pasta, Mac n Cheese, or grilled cheese sandwiches. Oh did I forget its namesake? The Crepevine boasts a large variety of sweet and savory crepes to choose from. There is indoor and outdoor seating if you want to just read a book or people watch. There is an upstairs section with 3-4 tables normally frequented by workers having lunch but a space for you if you want some privacy or can't wait on the bathroom downstairs. Though there is only one dual plug outlet by the front door, it is our go to spot for doing work or studying. There is enough turn around and open seating that people never have to wait long to find a seat. So you never feel rushed to vacate. The new drink menu has made Sunday Brunch into the Sunday Funday Brunch. The pitcher of Sangria makes me harken back to the 90s when pitchers needed two hands to hold instead of one. There is something for everyone here. Go solo if you want a pot of tea and cozy spot to read a book purchased at Pegasus across the street. Bring a date for breakfast, lunch, or early dinner. Bring the family if brunch is your thing. Whatever you want, Crepevine has something for you. Like their neighbors on the block, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just come on down and eat.
