PERMANENTLY CLOSED as of Jan 21, 2022 will be missed. Do not order delivery (even though you can). You'll just be sad.

Just OK. Came here for a Sunday lunch with my husband and ordered: Fries and hollandaise - the fries themselves were well fried but they had so much salt that they were a bit painful to eat. The hollandaise was extra and it was more of a frothy, slightly lemony sauce that didn't add much flavor to the fries. Burrito del guero - my husband enjoyed the flavors of this burrito but the overall internal texture was wet. There were salad greens included inside the burrito which turned soggy and wet when combined with the other hot ingredients. I couldn't take more than a few bites of this. It came with a side salad as well, and I finished that lol. Roasted pork shoulder - this dish itself looked a bit lack luster and the flavor was boring. The main flavor was just salty, I think it needed some kind of acid. The potatoes, turnip, and spinach were just meh. The meat was cooked well though, it was tender and soft. Overall I didn't really enjoy anything we ordered but maybe that's on us!

Ordered a breakfast burrito and it came with pickled onions and lettuce, which, if this is not a mistake, are two items worth mentioning when putting on any burrito, let alone a breakfast burrito. Not great. Also worth mentioning is the potato wedges are not hash browns.Cheddar was not melted, cool.I wish I had a better report. Sorry to be a Debby Downer.

Such a pleasant dining experience here for brunch on Sunday! Came with a friend and my toddler and we sat outside in the heated parklet. The inside is retro diner and beautiful as well! Staff were super nice and this is probably one of the most kid friendly places I've been in a while. Sidewalk chalk, crayons, coloring sheet and high chairs! The kids menu is also unique and well-portioned. I had the green eggs and ham and would highly recommend it! Can't wait to try some other menu items in the future as well. Easy parking (and free) on sunday. Wasn't crowded so felt Covid safe. Would highly recommend!

Not the best for vegetarians; bacon in most things. Would be better to price the base item and then have an additional fee for bacon or meat. Eggs were excellent and curried squash soup was tasty, but surprised that it was almost $10 and didn't come with a side of bread and butter ??‍♂️ Smoothie was warm and we asked for it with ice which made it better.

Don't be fooled, this is a dinner place. This is a dinner for dinner place and a dinner for breakfast place. Get the dinner.

New fav diner! Besides being a popular brunch spot in Oakland, they also have AMAZING dinner options. My favs were the steak tartare and the 1/2 chicken (loved the braised kale). They have something for everyone, from caviar to burgers and shakes. Will definitely be coming back here again.

I just love this place. Fortunately I just live across the street and I just grabbed a burger and some fries to-go tonight. But also it is a super fun place for a Saturday or Sunday Brunch with friends and mimosas. Thank you Keven and Justyna for coming to Oakland and bringing such amazing food, in such a great environment.

Came here for brunch today with my husband and our two kids. I literally googled East Bay brunch spots and this diner came around 5th on the list with a 4.6 google review so I had to see what Daughters was all about! We walk in, staff immediately greeted us and told us we order at the register and seat ourselves and they bring our food to us. Inside was pretty full so we sat outside where they had a cute little set up with four outside heaters so it was cold but bearable! I ordered their burrito del güero which was super delish! Recommend 10/10! It has some spiciness so beware lol! My kids got the kids triangle French toast with a side of fries (can have a choice of fruit too), my husband got the sticky fingaz which is like a mc griddle, only with actually pancakes! One more thang! They have a few adult drinks and I tried their Arnold Palmer with soju! Man game changer! It was so gooooood! I'm lightweight buzzin' rn. (:

Not veggie friendly and took forever. Went here on Saturday, and it took over an hour to get our food--it was taking so long that we ended up having to ask for it to go because we were going to be late. I've been vegetarian for over 15 years and had asked for my breakfast burrito with no bacon. I double checked to make sure that the receipt said "no bacon" and I even noticed that the to-go box said "no bacon" on it. It was cut in half, and when I ate the first half of the burrito I was kind of suspect of the taste, but couldn't find evidence of bacon. I had a stomach ache a couple hours later but didn't think much of it. Later that day, I wanted to eat the second half of the burrito, and what did I find? A ton of bacon. So I had to throw it out. Probably not going there again because there aren't any real vegetarian options and can't trust them to make something vegetarian. There are plenty of better places in Oakland to spend time and money.

I want to say this is more of a 3.5 star rating. Here's the breakdown. My wife and I were in the area to do a meet and greet for our doggy babysitter and we were craving some brunch. Noticed this place and wanted to give it a try. It's kinda cool that you just go and order and then go and find a seat and they bring you the food, pretty straightforward. We sat outside since we had our dog with us and they had a nice covered area for that. Points for that for sure. My wife and I ordered the steak tartar, fries, and I got the sticky fingaz and she got the breakfast burrito. To wash it all down I had the iced tea and she had the orange juice. The iced tea was delicious. I know you're probably thinking...it's iced tea...ya well... I know good and bad iced tea and this was a top contender. It had a hint of sweetness and it was just delicious. Now lets talk food. The ultimate star here was the steak tartare....I know right?! ABSOLUTELY FREAKING DELICIOUS!! 10/5 STARS FOR THAT GUY! One of the best I've had to be honest and I would have guessed I was at a 5 star restaurant it was that good. The bread was yum yum yum that next time I would order extra bread because it was that good. The fries were actually perfectly salty and crispy and they were yummy. So where the stars fell off was for the entree meals. The sticky fingaz was like an elevated Mcgriddle from Mcdonalds. I would have loved it more if the egge was an actual runny egg and if the sausage patty wasn't an italian seasoned patty. I would have preferred an all american sausage patty if that makes sense. My wife's burrito was ok as well. I would come back here for the appetizers to be honest. I would just get a bunch of appetizers and fill up on that. Would I be back? Oh yes.

Have been here a bunch of times, but finally got the Princess Pancakes. Absolutely delicious! The folks who work here are incredibly kind and fun, and the food is great. Definitely recommend grabbing some of the sides and appetizers- I really enjoyed the marinaded tomato salad today, and always love the tots!

Came here for brunch with the boyfriend and we had a great time! I was expecting a hole in the wall, but the place had a great vibe and even better food! We had the green eggs and ham and princess pancakes and they did not disappoint! We're definitely going back to try other items on the menu. The staff was friendly as well!

Not amazing, nice seating (painful chairs) average pricing.
