Today I ordered a cake and I must express my disappointment. Unfortunately, the quality has decreased since my order last year. The strawberry jam had a medicinal taste, and upon opening the cake, all the milk spilled out, causing a mess. It looks like they forgot to put a tray in, as everything spilled out. The corners were dry, only the bottom, in the center, was wet. Fortunately, my experience wasn't a nightmare due to a party, but for a $100 cake, I expected more quality. I hope this comment helps improve your services. Additionally, the stain on my hands from the cake still hasn't gone away.English: Today, I ordered a cake and I must express my disappointment. Additionally the cake stained my hand and almost everyone's face in not sure what chemical they used but I will not be coming back again.

I was looking for Rosca de reyes and I came across this bakery, and with the news that the bread is super soft ?, if I recommend it, I would like to encourage you to make a batch of Ate-filled bagels with fruits uff. A year ago I bought a 3 milk cake and it was also very tasty ??

Great bakery , very friendly staff. The owners are hands on and are alway willing to help and answer all my questions. There ia a parking lot on 35th ave behind the bakery that always has parking for the customers.I love the prices !!! - The best prices in the Bay Area for great tasting bread.

I was so looking forward to a Pan dulce- a concha in particular. So instead of getting the big ones as they looked a little crushed, I got the little ones. so disappointed they were hard and not good at all. I also tried their tamales one mexican one and one "chapin". the "Mexican" one was ok was supposed to be chile and cheese and it had a small slice of chile, ok cheese and lots of masa.. Their "Chapin" had good flavor but it had a big chunk of chicken shoulder blade. The bones that took up half the tamale, were soft so when you tried to eat around them you would get pieces of bones. Nothing worse then having to pick bones out of the food in your mouth. once i deconstructed the tamale pulled the meat off of the bones and removed the skin, it was easier to eat, less bones to pick out. Definitely different from other tamales, I thought they were supposed to have other ingredients then sauce and piece of bone in chicken?. My co-workers had had warned me about the quality of their conchas and they had mixed reviews about the customer service. I wanted to support local business and give them I try but next time I will walk a little farther to get my bread and tamales. and would not recommend.

This is my favorite panaderia. Everywhere is expensive so I can't complain about that i just love the quality of the bread and is delicious

I do not recommend this place. I bought a birthday cake for my daughter a few months ago. The cake was pricey and did not look what so ever like the picture I showed them. The bread was stale to the point that it was very difficult to even cut through the cake. I was very embarrassed with my guests. Literally nobody ate this cake. I tried calling this place and even offered to return the cake but they did not want to refund me

I love pan dulce and this was walkable from the Fruitvale BART, so decided to give several breads a try (I apologize, I'm not knowledgeable enough yet to identify anything that isn't conchas). One of the buns had a sugar cookie-like exterior and was what I expected. Although the chocolate-coated one appears from the surface like it'd be softer and creamier, it was actually hard - not necessarily a bad thing, I Just hadn't known what to expect. Overall my least favorite was probably the one with the custard inside of it; it was actually bitter, which may not be an issue for those who don't like their food too sweet or knew what they were getting into, but I was taken by surprise. I would like it if the breads were labeled with the name/type and ingredients, since that would be easier for anyone with dietary restrictions and allergies, but I understand that's not the norm in almost all the panaderias I've been to. One bonus of this place: they do have a bathroom that you can use.

Horrible service, lady must of been having a bad day because her attitude was horrible, God Bless her poor soul. Poor lady is already old and maybe she was having a bad day but the people who are going to buy there are not to blame, Mrs. Do not be rude.

There are three times that I have bought bread in that place and every time it has been hard for me, and the person who serves is always in a bad way.
