Good food, good drinks, chill vibe with a TV that will play a hockey game or an old western depending on the crowd and the occasion. I can vouch for the steak, the double cheeseburger, the old fashioned, and gin gimlet as all excellent.

We got the cheeseburger, cheese steak, fries, and corn fritters. I really didn't expect everything to taste THIS good but I was so pleasantly surprised!! Everything was so tasty and the drinks were even better!!! I LOVED the house made ranch and put that on everything. The owner and staff were also super kind - will def be coming back. They have odd hours so it's hard to catch when they're open but definitely worth it.

Og lunch box fan here, I always got 2 hot plates with salads on the side. (Guess who). Anyway this menu features the world's best meatloaf that was available at the lunch box at one time.Always do delivery with dinnerhouse, huge portions and killer to go plates that are totally reusable.Had the spaghetti as well sauce was to die for.Impossible to go wrong here.
Great spot in Oakland. Doesn't have long hours, but it makes up for that with great drinks, good food, and an awesome atmosphere. Great selection of lagers which went well with the food. Cocktail selection was wonderful with a varied list of classics. Super clean.

My sister and I happened upon the Dinner House during an art event in the area. So happy to have lucked up on this family owned bar and grill. My sister ordered the Cheesesteak which she enjoyed. I had the Ribeye Steak. I normally am not a fan of gravy, but the Dinner House changed my mind. It was delicious! The veggies were seasoned well and also delicious. The drinks were also great.Jeff, his son Joey, and daughter Vickie were extremely kind and very welcoming. My sister and I will definitely be frequenting Dinner House again.Found out they also own Lunch Box, a sandwich shop. We can't wait to try it!

Real, honest and delicious food. I got the steak and it was great. 9.5/10, would be a 10 if it had a little bit more seasoning. Service was fantastic, and their ranch is amazing! They told me they make it fresh in-house every morning. Bit random but it was the best ranch I've ever had!

I love this place. The food is delicious, comforting, and satisfying, the beers fresh, I think they even have Asahi on tap. The bartender is nice, it's a great, freindly place to stop and get a bite to eat and drink.

Was in the area for a conference. Found this place on my second night. They had a classic movie on one screen, basketball on another, great music, really friendly staff, great food and beer. Went back for more of the same the next night. When I'm next in town, this is where I'm heading back to.
