Don's Meat Market has closed as of 11/30/18 after 52 years. New owners will be the grocery store owner. It was a good run.

What can I say this is the best meat market in Oakland and one of the best in the Bay Area. The pros: meat is fresh daily, clean, friendly butchers, not expensive meat and all the meat there is tender..The Con:rough neighborhood, no seafood, some of the customers are rough looking. Besides that this place has good prime meats
