This place is fantastic. The food was incredible and was exactly what you want when you think to yourself “I want some dumplings”. We had the chicken and pork xiao long bao, Brussel sprouts, green onion pancakes, ginger and scallion noodles, bbq pork steamed dumplings, and siu mai. Of course had to finish it off with sesame balls which were amazing. Everything was superb and came out piping hot. Service was unbelievably fast. Our server forgot our tea and the dipping vinegar but when I mentioned it, it was quickly remedied. I highly recommend stopping in!!

We were there until 10 minutes past 9 and they started cleaning up right then and there. It felt like they were rushing us and trying to pick us out. Gave us the check even before the food came out and asked us for to go boxes even as we were eating. Food was great but would probably never be back after this service

Dumpling Hours in Oakland is a gem! We enjoyed a comforting Sunday lunch with freshly made noodles and dumplings that were stuffed to order. The flavors were exceptional, with each bite bursting with freshness and authenticity. The dumplings were perfectly steamed, and the noodles had just the right texture. The cozy ambiance and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

Decent quality soup dumplings, but souper expensive

Our new favorite for Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) in the East Bay. The skin of the dumplings is super thin and yet somehow it doesn’t break when you pick it up. The soup dumpling is loaded with soup and super juicy. The flavor profile is just perfect. You can eat it plain as is or you can add the vinegar soy sauce dip for some added flavor.

The cucumber garlic appetizer salad is also delicious. Perfect level of crunch. Very refreshing addition to compliment the noodles and dumplings.

Kid-friendliness: Super nice to kids. They gave us some dough to play with while waiting for our meal.

Went on a whim when my partner and I were in the bay area and were craving something with broth. I love Xiao Long Bao and I typically have to drive quite a bit to even find a resturant that serves the dish. We had the hot and spicy version, and while I didn't consider it spicy, it did have an extra kick of flavor that I seriously enjoyed. The option of how many pieces encouraged us to try more than one dish, all thay were delicous. Prices were very typical for a dumpling resturant althought I felt more compelled to spend more from how DELICOUS it was. Will be returning next time we're in the bay area

My family loves coming here! The service is great - they are very friendly with my kiddos who are 5 and 7. They can sit at the glass window and watch the chef expertly crafting soup dumplings.
The food is wonderful, we usually get soup dumplings, pork bun, garlic green beans, green onion pancake… haven’t been disappointed with any of them.
