The Earhart burger is the best. Brioche bun, bacon and avocado. The fries are crispy and tasty. Great place to watch a game, have a burger and a glass of wine. The bar staff is friendly and the tavern is kept very clean.

The food is terrible and the beers on tap are flat and taste like the lines need to be cleaned.

This place is connected to the Hilton across the street from Oakland airport. Oakland, as we all know, is an incredibly undesirable place to be. Anywhere near the airport is ESPECIALLY undesirable. Earhart's Tavern continues this trend with an unfathomable level of undesirability. The place has about as much charm as the Mauthausen concentration camp circa 1943. After hiring Angela Lansbury to track down my server, I finally took a look at the menu and was astounded at the prices. $13 for a pint of beer or $15 for a 24 ounce pint of beer. Want a side of standard run-of-the-mill fries...$10! Want three tiny tacos that would otherwise be an appetizer at any restaurant in the world...$22! Just an absolute ripoff! If I meandered into the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan and saw these prices, I'd be like "ok, this makes sense", but being deep in the rectum of the bay area and seeing these absurd prices from a bare bones airport hotel was just mind-blowing.

A menu to satisfy most tastes with some delightful surprises. Will try the zero-proof blood orange spritz on another occasion. Fish tacos were delicious, as was the quinoa salad. Staff was welcoming and attentive.

I don't normally do reviews of hotel restaurants; however, this will be the exception. While the hotel, even with an upgraded room, feels older, is still a very nice place considering it's in Oakland, the restaurant is superb. The bartender, Tammy, is attentive, precise, and an excellent t mixogist. The food, so far, is great. I ordered the salmon and am absolutely delighted but the presentation and extraordinary flavor. Very well done. While I prefer a salmon that is medium rare, this is more well done but still tender and moist. The fingerling potatoes. Olives and artichokes are extremely well done...as in Superb.

As a frequent traveler to Oakland Airport, you have little choice with the on-site restaurant and the food choices. I know times are tough and staffing is an issue but every time I've visited they're short handed. They're all polite and attentive but always running themselves ragged. Atmosphere is fine in the evening with sports on the tvs in the bar. The bartender is phenomenal and polite.

Tammy, captain of this ship tonight. Multitasking master of the bar. Pouring and slinging at a break neck pace. Focused and positive throughout. Clearly supported by her bombarded kitchen staff as this tavern is completely full tonight. She recommended the fish and chips on this cold and rainy California evening. Good recommendation. Accompanied by a lovely Chardonnay, hit the spot. You never know what to expect at a hotel restaurant but if you are staying here and Miss Tammy is on the clock, I assure you, you are in good hands.
The menu needs complete makeover. This is a Hilton location, we can expect better.
